Previous two installers used plywood subtop. I just got a quote on a different kitchen where the granite installer says the granite is mounted directly onto cabinet like yours. What is the role of the plywood? Why are you not using it?
I've used 90* brackets on walls outside of a stud line with butterfly toggles no problem...Maybe another 90 on the floor about 6" back from the toe kick. The counter will take care of the rest.
Why is this so ridiculously low to the floor (7-8", who told you that)!?? What about the baseboards and base cabinets bottom/toe kick? This outlet would be touching the bottom of the cabinet and look silly. Also that's some serious overkill (and dangerous) using a multi tool BEFORE a hand drywall saw! Why not just start with that? Also then you show checking the power AFTER you've done all the dangerous work where you could have gotten electrocuted! Lol Next time, just use a handsaw. And install much higher! Sorry, I don't think this guy knows what he's doing.
