A light treat to discover, though some of the violence, authentic or no, disturbs me. Main thing that kept me watching was Philip Jackson as Abbot Hugo 😂
I watched this movie it is typical of Putin era WW2 movies and documentaries. I have watched many WW2 movies and depending on the country they all have their we are the best elements. These movies are a little over the top especially considering the Soviet era military. Still they can be fun. There's a Russian series called the Attackers if I remember correctly. It was about a fighter squadron that flew mig 3s. I am not entirely sure about one thing though there was a female fighter pilot and I am not sure that was factual. It was still a decent drama.
Man, i just cannot watch that without thinking of Brian Blessed in his role as king in the 1st Blackadder series. And i think he's even wearing the same armor. Awesome actor.
I feel I've just watched the entire movie... What a moron he was, to volunteer for the army and leave his house and wife alone in a dangerous land full of dangerous men.
Excellent man and poet with down to earth lyrics, songs and adding fitting talent to his music over the years. In my young years I was wary of his soft voice. No longer, though.
There was just something about women back then.. may just be my personal preferences usually liking thinner framed but wow everytime I see a 70's or 80's movie evey single girl is beautiful.
