@TheKeefus1971 very close, but I'm pretty sure your 2013 is a different part number than my 8 speed. If you put it on a lift, you can stick a rod up between the mufflers and wiggle the driveshaft. If it moves at all, that carrier bearing is probably bad.
@SteveTaber-xe4sv I think its still the problem. Watch My video at the point where I show the screen of the old video. I could rev mine slow too. The socks turn a slimy brown, filled with small particles. It's just like a sediment filter on a house water system.
Hey there folks, I had all of the symptoms described in this video, and I got lucky as my issue turned out to be just fouled plugs! The dealer suggested that I try changing the twin spark plugs; so glad that I did - $30 fixed my problem!!!! Thank you for this video just the same. Cheers (2015 King Quad 750 SE)
Is this still a problem on the 2023 750’s? I’m really close to pulling the trigger on one, the dealer near me is selling them for 2,000 dollars less than MSRP.
@@johnnymac3079I winded up getting one a week after this comment lol. I absolutely love everything about it. It’s very fast for a utility atv and it’s very comfortable. My only complaint is probably the noisy CVT rollers when under load, almost sounds like engine knock, and the exhaust will have a slight chirping noise when cold at the end of rev’s. Other than that I love it.

I'm Excited To Try It! I Rarely Even Ride Mine Anymore Because It's So Annoying Hard To Start And Stalling
Hope it helps! I think that filter sock is 99% of most people's problems. When something filters down to that small of microns, it's super easy to clog up. Mine still runs great now!
@@johnnymac3079 I'm in the 1%, replaced the sock yesterday after viewing your great video, it looked very dirty, but no improvements on the ATV. So I'll be ordering the injector and F.O. p/p that you suggested and convinced it will solve it!
I put that injector in today. Machine in high gear top speed 30-32mph. Keep in mind, I use it for work round the house; plowing snow, toting wood etc. Oil and filter changed twice per year. I can make it work mostly if I feather the throttle the right way... But I'm about at wits end. Next thing is the fuel pump. I'll swap that out. Only other thing I can think of is the ECM, the stock ECM from what I hear, is so narrow minded as far as fuel and fuel quality... Just not exactly in a position to spend $300 on a Moose ECM.

In my automotive experience, ignition components are notorious for cutting out when hot. I would guess ignition coil. Or could be a weakening fuel pump that loses pressure as it gets hot.
I’m sharing this video with my service shop, they have already spent hours troubleshooting and can’t figure it out. Mine is a 2016 750 which starts and runs fine it just recently started randomly stalling, even more so when going slow downhills. Starts back up fine but then randomly stalls more. Hopefully this works. Thanks for the video.
As an additional inspection to check if indeed it is the sock, which in many cases it is, (atv's) disconnect fuel line and back blow pressurized air into gas tank through it and reverse the accumulation from sock. If you notice immediate improvement then there lays the problem. Replace with a larger sock and clean out fuel tank.

Glad the video helped! You can just Google the pn's and buy them from wherever is cheapest. Amazon is usually the safest bet. Sometimes rock auto. I also keep a battery tender on it just to be safe
New radiator is awesome. I don't even run the fan most days. I put street tires on it for a local cruise which is probably 10 miles of start / stop, stoplight city driving. Was 89 out and I barely used the fan. Love it. Money well spent
O5 ,700 king quad when it starts it doesn't have fast idle it idles really slow, another the . Speedometer doesn't work either what might be the problem
My 750 has similar problem but will drag the starter to almost locking up. I put new Battery , solenoid and spark plug It got to the point ran and quit then would not but barely turn over and the pull rope tried tearing my hand and fingers off, If I pull rope and hit the starter it turnes over, plan to try injector and pump as well. Thanks? How ever I may have a compression release spring problem ? I have a local quad repair man close by that has done the delete inside the valve area and thinks that's the problem . Do you still have the 750 and is that fix still working. Thanks again.
Hey, I still have the 750. Runs great. My one concession i have made is just keeping a battery tender on it. Many of these have a slow draw over time. My injector and pump did fix the stalling issue, and poor starting. For what it's worth, my hand rope also pulls really hard. I think that's just a big bore single piston deal. I did throw a starter at mine. Didn't seem to change much, but was a cheap thing to try.
Going to try this. I got an 06 that ran rough, and whatever I did, it got worse. Spark plug, ignition coil, timing, and after replacing the generator it didn't even have spark.
Hi i need help with my 2017 king quad 750 has the same problem but when you start it it will die it wont keep running it'll probably die after like 20 30 seconds of being started and when you hit the gass it the same we replaced the fuel filter and the sock but nothing we added a ground wire and still nothing any options?

I have a 2005 King Quad 700 it will start the first Pole on the pull cord you can crank and Crank That engine won't start from the key what might be the problem
I would start with verifying it's getting spark while cranking with the starter. Sounds like it's not firing the plug, or coil, unless you manually yank it.
Any more problems with the stalling on your king quad 750 since you changed the fuel pump and injector? Or does it seem like that has remedied your issue completely?
Great, thanks for the quick response. My friend just bought a used 2015 with only 30 miles on it and it is doing exactly what you described with yours but he hasn’t really had a chance to ride to see if there are any other issues that people are describing. I may wait for a longer ride to see if any of the other issues come up before i make the decision on where to start.
@davidscovern3009 with that few miles, I'm not sure if the fuel could have that much dirt in it.... may be as simple as low /dying battery? Good luck!@
