Just came across this video and it is exceptionally helpful considering im was looking to turn a single mass flywheel for my 1.8t. I have to ask though. I understand its an old upload, but what did you ark at 16:16 i heard it catch you by surprise and gave me a good laugh
Hello. I just change solenoids on my jatco 506(09b) , sharan, but before and after change i have error 00652 . Before change only 1 and 2 gear works, 3d was onle reving rpm After solenoids change, when it's cold, work good, when it's warn its difficult to change from 2 to 3 gear with out little reving (to 2700-3000 rpm). But when I stoped, put in parking from drive, and from P to D, it's dont change the gear from 2 to 3 (from 1 to 2 perfect change) . Maybe you can help me, and give recommendations? Thank you
You are the man ! I have the same tool , about to replace mine on my 00 ALH . Looks like it will fit but most likely will be disconnecting motor mount and jacking the engine up . Ina is the way to go. Nice hot day for it too
Bonjour monsieur Je visualise et je revisualise à nouveau cette vidéo Magnifique diagnostique d'ailleurs c'est l'une de mes vidéos préférées Bonne continuation
Iv changed my tb pedal cam sensor was still throwing codes changed the ECU and code was gone a month later I’m back to square one p0221 has come back and can’t think of what to do next 😭
I have something similar. The IQ is way low but at idle it jumps about along with the voltage on the modulating piston. My cold start duty cycle is also doing erratic things on idle. Once some throttle is applied everything stabilises but the IQ is still very low. Injection timing is adjusted spot on. This all started when i swapped from the old MSA15 ECU to an EDC15VM+ ECU (ALH) so i could run my AHU on a VNT turbo. Prior to this it was all ok. I had to use a different loom which i belled out a couple of times to confirm and record what was what. I can only think it's a wiring issue but i have no fault codes.
I’m having a problem with my transmission too I got an 05 gti 09a when I cold crank it I put it in drive and it won’t engage but I can use reverse with no problem. but after it sits and warms up I can put it in drive and I’m good until I park it and let it cool off then it repeats the process. I got some replacement solenoids would that fix my problem?
Thanks bro. Also we resealed the pan a while back and I think we over filled it 2 quarts not thinking about the torque converter holding 2 quarts we added like 7-7.5
I got another 09a that struggles shifting from 2nd to 3rd that one is most likely a solenoid problem. Right? If so I got a set of brand new solenoids I could put in it
I have a 2010 Jetta cjaa tdi I have to put the ecu in the freezer for communication with ecu, if not I get 1314 code, fans come on, no mil at startup .. crank no start… Long story short if I were to source an ecu .. edc 17cp14 …could you immo delete it for a fee of course, the car is a great unit just intermittent crank no starts and do not enjoy having to freeze it everytime I need to start it
@@CoolAirVw is there a way to discuss this further…. Any more info you would Need to confirm, your prices, a few concerns I have… you would have to put the ecu in the freezer in order to access it via vcds etc etc , your location , I don’t know how this works … do you take my old oem tune from Original Ecu and put it on the used Ecu ? I just would want to process to go smooth 👍
No one has been able to explain what compressor shut off code 12 is. How do I find out what is shutting off my compressor sometimes? It only shuts off for 20 seconds or 30 seconds, especially when the vehicle is first started and driven on a hot day. Audi A5 2015 with 73k miles. Ac performance is excellent, 38f at evaporator and pressures are normal.
in video at 3:59 there is a drop down list of all shut off codes. Pause the video at 3:59 and you can see what code 12 is. Do you need further explanation? The engine computer can override the AC (turn it off) for various reasons. What you describe is almost seems normal.
@@CoolAirVw Yes I did see that the ECM is commanding it off, but there is no further guidance to find out why. Is it normal? Never had a car do that before randomly. There are no fault codes in any module.
@@Bizija123 engine computer is making a decision to turn if off for some reason. You just need to think about what is going on during those times to see why.
Awesome video! Currently attempting to diagnose an AC issue on my 2011 CC. Vehicle is blowing hot air and it does freon (approximately 6bar) read by my OBD11 scanner. Wish my compressor was missing a couple bolts like your example haha. Any suggestions on how to proceed?
you'll need full function scanner that is capable of communicating withj the AC computer. Take a look at this video. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE--p7ptfnQua8.htmlsi=VqWmBILQQ5VYll8d
but your AC system is probably a UDS system so you'll need the following info also. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-PDYspBdpzUk.htmlsi=GFa3wSYm9ei61aWh
Man i need to ask u something i have golf tdi AfH engine It goeS 100kmh anD stops Aceleration or looks like goes Empty gas pls can u tell me what can be
fuel air spark, injection timing, cam timing, exhaust restriction and compression. turbos fail on those alot and the impeller moves to block airflow. We have a 2015 golf here right now with no start due to failed turbo.
@@CoolAirVw yup that's exactly what it turned out to be. I replaced the turbo, now it looks like the head gasket is leaking a little. I'm thinking it ingested enough engine oil from the turbo to lift the head from preignition. Anyway I ordered a set of upgraded 12.9 head bolts from darkside. I'll try to clamp the head down to see if the leak goes away, if it doesn't I didn't lose anything by trying because I believe the head bolts I ordered are non torque to yield style so Should be reusable. Thank you so much for your comments because they helped me diagnose the failed turbo!
*My code is P0235. And install new MAP sensor and read. Is bad pressure boost. Why ?. Idle is 96kPa and press pedal to 4000Rmp pressure is 102kPa. Variable geometry dirty ?* Sorry my English is bad. Greetings from Serbia
So there are no aftermarket injectors available since they would have to be calibrated to match the flow rates designated by vw serialization per some unknown on each & every comon rail piezo injector?
I have problem, my golf 4 1.9tdi 74kw when gearbox is cold, it wont shift from 1st to second gear, i need to press full gas pedal to rpms go to the maximum, and after that it will shift to second gear
Great, helpful and informative video. Am hoping it also applies to me, as my car is the same...an '04 Jetta 1.8t with an 09A Tip-tronic. It does exactly the same issue, as it loses the shift from 3rd to 4th just like in the video. If starting very gently and don't let the RPM's go past 2500 for each gear, it usually will go into 4th without the crazy rev/neutral effect. And even better when using the Tip-Tronic, that is, am able to push it slightly harder, as in shifts at about 2800 RPM's. My situation differs from the video in that there are 3 codes in the system: 0300 Transmission Fluid Temp, 0526 Brake Light Switch and 0652 Gear Monitoring. Does this suggest that it might not not be the N92 solenoid issue and possibly something else? Please keep up the great work for us learners :)
Great Vid but an indictment on VW for having such a closed key/immob system forcing owner into such measures, particularly when they refuse to offer repairs on older vehicles - i will never buy a new (or post 2000) VW product ever again............
i will forward your video to my mechanic. hope he will do more testing before he decides to replace the turbo. if he decides it is the turbo where would you suggest buying a new turbo or a turbo rebuild kit? or do you have one for sale for a 2006 VW jetta TDI??
Thanks for all the videos, very helpful. If you can remember the difficulties you had in pin removal from the injector harness can you recommend a pin removal tool that would work best on it? It appears there is only one tang on one side of the female connector. I'm hoping this will be a solution for a cylinder 3 electrical malfunction and cylinder 3 misfire detected codes p1668 and p0303. Also, did you mess with any of the other cylinders or best to leave those without codes alone?
Hello good morning, I have the same problem. They did the DPF remap on my car but now this error appears and the mechanic who did the remap says he doesn't know what it is. Can you help me, I don't know what to do. thanks Tony
Yeah I should have. I read somewhere they are locktited and a problem. Hindsite. But this shifter is garbage. Get a deisel geek one that bolts onto the trans.
Is there a way to change an adaptation or something in VCDS to allow the low current value of the LEDs to work? I have a set of aftermarket LED tail lights that the previous owner installed. They are integrated into the housing, not just a bulb to change. I like them and would rather not spend money replacing tail lights.
