oh I can just see him in the yard trying to unhook a trailer.... and...... he wont here the 220 pound rottweiler coming for him.... he doesnt bark to scare em off.. he sneaks up behind them and very calmly waits for the opportunity to rip his hand a new one. Dunno how he'd get in in the first place
What i do if somebody stole my trailer i take my trailer back from them call the cops on them first stealing private property thay will not know i have a tracking device on it same thing for my vehicle
Doesn't it affect the backflow resulting in a less efficient ride ? I wanted my Lexus GS400 to sound louder, so instead of putting on Borla's, I had the shop just chop the mufflers, and the low end torque was gone.
You guys took a chance waiting on that side street for as long as you did with the trailer out of your sight. The thief could have driven away and you'd never know it until it was too late.
Make sure you stamp your vin in various locations. There are various ways to deter a thief. Don’t pretend this is 1500AD. People steal stuff constantly now unfortunately.
I did this today..., it looks very easy when you doing this. I took me almost 2 hours. The baffles were super tighter, it was not easy at all. But now my bike sounds awesome! When i ride it for long time it's not that good, but hey, who cares about ears hahah Greets from Belgium!!
I used a band saw to cut just aft of the end plate and pulled out the baffles with pliers.. I like the look of the stock pipes but cutting where I did gave them a custom look and the sound to me is better than any aftermarket ones that I have heard on a Raider. I have owned mine for 12 years and Love this bike!
I guess when people want the Harley look and sound, they just buy a Harley. I know I am 100% glad I got my 2012 Yamaha Raider S in Raven black. LOVE IT! I have been debating getting the Freedom Proformance Sharp Curvy pipes as I love the look and they are in my opinion the best sounding pipes for our Raiders. But I do love the stock pipes look as they are huge and fit the bike. But after seeing this baffle removal and hearing it after words, I may just remove my baffles and keep the stock pipes.
So was this your trailer? I hope it was. Surprised that you didn't have a Bill of Sale or know your VIN. Your trailer registration has that info on it. Ssd that you had to go through that entire ordeal but thieves are always one step closer to getting caught. Glad you got your trailer back. It cost some heavy bucks to buy a trailer (new or used). 👍🏽🙂
They stole my trailer Big TEX .4yrs ago from a friend's garage we think we know who Stole it but we can't prove It. not only the trailer but the quads that were on it everything new. You are very luckey. Like in the beginning what you said, told your partner to park in front and you in the back of him He could have taken off You would have lost him Lucky againThat he stayed put.
Your brother wants 500$ to find your trailer,I find that rather peculiar, and how do you know that trailer is yours, there's hundreds built just like that all over north America. You'd need the ownership!to check the Vin! Maybe your brother sold it to him!maybe I'm just being suspicious but years ago a brother stole his brother's transmission for drug debts,or he was gonna get stabbed in the stomach!
Had the same happen. Borrowed a trailer from a guy. Wasn’t able to get him to drop it off at his shop. He told me to drop it at mine and he would get it in a few hours. I get a call of Where is it?😂
