Why not just replace the entire wheel hub assembly so you don’t have to cut the bearing out and press in a new one! They sell the complete wheel hub assembly
I keep getting p0031 and p0057 ever since I installed catless headers, even with brand new denso sensors on b1s1 and b2s2. All wiring is good, all fuses good, etc...Maybe I need to replace b1s2 and b1s1 as well ?
Hi, if i dont know where to hook the engine hoist in engine , what places do you recommend connecting ?. engine hook lifting recommendation like motor mount is one example, any other locations you recommend to lift the engine.
Wow!!.. not sure how i missed this video. Thank you buddy. I recently changed my Toytoa Camry engine and went thru lot challenges while aligning the engine to transmmission while installing it back. questions. 1. when i drop engine back to transmission. i can title the engine to left to right using engine leveller but i dont know how i can move the engine little to the back on bottom and liittle to the front on top, inn otherwords i dont see a way to tilt the engine on front and bottom because the engine leveller can tilt only left to right. can you pls provide me some tips.
I am removing my engine in my 05 SC430 and following your video. A few questions and comments. 1. The transmission lines goes thru between engine mount and oil sump. I decided to remove it totally. I don't know how u don't have to. Wouldn't that damage the lines when the engine is getting out? 2. There are hooks on the engine for hoisting. I don't know why u need to remove the exhaust shields to tie your seat belt around manifolds for hoisting. 3. I see u remove the wiring harness from transmission and take it out with engine. Ok. I was debating where I could disconnect. 4. I am still struggling to remove the top two bellhousing bolts. You made it look easy. 5. Need to remove the 12mm bolt holding the transmission dipstick. Otherwise u might need a new oil pan (as the tubing is welded to the pan.)
Had the PO2137 code on my 2005 TL and this video help me replace the APS. Done in under 45mins. Check engine light gone. Used OBD to clear out old code. In addition, throttle response is waaaayy better. Old APS had too much cable slack...so fixed that too.
Great tips, bro. Last weekend, I replaced the AC condenser on my son's Mercedes CL500. The metal pipe on the condenser had a crack and was leaking freon. I used a small can of UV dye to trace the leak. He's happy it's working again. My first two cars didn't have AC when I was younger, and I managed to survive those days. Today, though, AC is a must in hot weather.
Thank you. I got a similar problem on 2011 1.2TSI but throwing p0136 and p0140, also thte engine runs poorly with poor gas milage with no misfires. The car was at the dealership 10 minthes ago, they replaced o2 sensor (bank 1 sensor 2) and igniters. problem kept coming back. i took the car yesterday to the dealership again. the car is still there. i will ask them to replace the ignition coils aswell.
@@alltsab i am currently working on a 2005 Camry SE. Same engine different plugs but not that much different from the Sienna. your video saved me headache.
Just dealt with this same issue. I used up my last key turn getting back home after trying for an hour in the parking lot. Couldn't get it into accessory so I had to drill, the comment made about the pin spinning with the drill was accurate, it took a lot of drilling to get that out and had to bang on it a bit like he did.
I have a 2005 xb with only 135K miles and due to age, the rear bearing finally started making noise after several long road trips. You made me realize how simple it is to replace the old bearings. I appreciate Toyota's well engineered designs making repairs simple, usually, especially the older models. Thanks for making this video.
Just one thing when you disconnect battery from a vehicle you always disconnect negative first and connect last? By disconnecting positive first you take chance of burning something?
If the Dealership sells the car at invoice, they still make money; there's a thing called "Hold Back" that the Dealership gets reimbursed from the Manufacturer after the sale, in your case is GM and if there are Manufacturer incentives such as Rebates and etc. during the period of sale, they can use that to make money on top of the sales price. I used to sell GM cars for many years. The best time to buy new cars is at the end of the year models when new year models arrived usually from July to December and also at the end of the month when the dealership is try to make their quota for the month.
Thank you for great video and your effort to record it. I know it have been awhile ago now since you recorded. Just wanted to mention looks like when you assembled back, that thick foam liner have been left out between valve and manifold. I'm sure you caught later. Done that myself before with other parts. Thank you for sharing your video.
@@alltsab We have been under a heat advisory for the last month 😂 In Florida, we use to get temperatures this hot only in August, now it starts in May. 😳 I spent the day rebuilding the water pump on my 2006 Yamaha 70TRL, 2 stroke outboard. I am toast. I'll put the muffs on and test it later this week.
@bblod4896 wow cooking year so it's all over the planet. Yesterday I went to San Francisco they have the best weather there. All day under 80 degree and at night 60 degree.

An yes i work in a shop take care friend 🙋2000TRD2.7 the auto parts store sells injector cleaner in my eyes it crap. I see to many people having problems with the 10%corn gas take care guys 🙋
I had code for o2 sensor on an 04 honda civic lx. Replaced it with a 'delphi' o2 sensor and it seemed to run better, but had occasional hiccups, and started throwing a different code relating to the o2 sensor. Checked with multimeter, wiring was fine, plugs fine. Reluctantly, on the advice i found in forums, I replaced it again with OEM sensor (denso) and it actually worked. According to the forums, the other brands won't send just the right signals that it's expecting to get the way the OEM Denso sensor would.
That's awesome! Last year I fixed the same problem on my son's 2002 Mercedes CL500. I replaced the broken bushing with something I have around. I also added an E-clip so it won't come off again. Initially, I thought it was the shifter box failing so I opened it up. Then I noticed the shifting rod came off exactly like the Toyota you were showing.
