Easy to follow DG Divisions presentation. If I heard well this presentation is in general for fire brigadiers !? . Where my questions arose are the classes 2 and 4 and their divisions and level of danger. Fron transport point if view 2.1 and 2.3 and 4.2 and 4.3 present higher level of danger then than 2.2 and 4.1 respectively. Also packing groups can also conplicate approach. Will study that once more . Thanks for posting video!

What does B:C stand for on fire extinguishers? Hazmat needs a 10 B:C or higher. What does that mean though? What Are the numbers and letters representing?

b is liquid fuels (like things that come in bottles or barrels i.e. oils and alcohols) and c is charged electrical (meaning it has electricity in the circuit right now-if you kill the power, it is no longer a c). the 10 means there are 10 square feet of liquid fuel the extinguisher will put out. the c just means it won't conduct electricity from the charged circuit back to whomever is using the extinguisher. it's explained better in my video, but hopefully this helps@@Kelly-np2tg

A = Ashes. B= Barrels. C = Circuits. D = Dynamite. K = Kitchen. Metal fires such as magnesium burn at temperatures exceeding 5,000°F, much hotter than other fuels, at these temperatures water aka H²O breaks down into the base components, hydrogen is obviously highly flammable and oxygen is part of the fire triangle, and CO² breaks down into carbon and oxygen. K extinguishers were developed because it was recognized that fires in commercial deep fat fryers though similar to a class B fire, the higher flash points of vegetable and animal oils and fats rendered the typical ABC type ineffective and had a tendency to reignite because modern commercial deep fryers are better insulated and retain heat longer than earlier models, in this day and age of energy conservation concerns.

It has more to do with the effects when class 1 is involved, whether it is flammable or not with class 2, yes with class 4, opposite with class 5 potentially, and yes with class 6
