Doesn't associated when they roll out a new generation turn their previous generation into RTRs? They just released their SR10M which is a mid motor dirt oval RC. I hope this means we can now get the SC6.4 SCT in an RTR setup. That would be an instant buy for me. Excited to see where this goes but it's a good time to see what they roll out. New RTRs, new generation for the kit folks out there. Pretty sweet.
That was real outdoor racing. That track look plenty dusty. It makes me ask how the grip felt during those races? Overall, I thibk you did nicely. Bring us more 1/8th goodness, Ryan! It's good to see you back.
That whole race had me on the edge of my seat!! Just got into short course a couple months ago and it truly is the only class that matters. Hope to see more vids like this!!
@Ryan, my car Xray xb2C has evolved to a setup almost like yours where gearbox is changed for a dirt and motor is 7mm further back to get more weight over rear end, lipo is moved as far front as it goes to compensate and give more balance to the car. like Hall Brothers talked about in their weight video to get weight spread out and calm the car down.
Not letting off completely, is a frear tip. (Im a newbie) I wouod really like to learn more about rasio settings and speed controller settings. I have a Ream associated 2wd buggy. A flysky rasio and Hobbywing XR10 pro G2S
I was just at this track yesterday, my B7 R1 21.5 was zipping around the track . I haven't done anything to it, kit stock, haent even changed the shock oils yet. thanks for giving me some great setup tips, i appreciate it.
It's too bad you didn't showcase the "kit" body on the white background like you did your "pro" body. Setting it on a rustic table definitely makes it scream "not pro". It might have been an ease of production choice on your part, but it definitely created a class distinction between the two no matter how much you lauded the kit look in your dialogue.
I am a recent subscriber to your channel. Do you have a video about header and mufflers? Is one better than the other and do they really make a difference? Great channel love your content. Great to see you talk about your build in detail then take it to the track to see it perform. A lot of RU-vidrs don’t do that they just talk about the car or truck and never show us how it performs.
Great video. Didn't you drive a TLR? I would love to see an upgrade for us who doesn't run highgrip dirt. I still run an b6.1 with four gears and it runs way better than any laydown car that has ever come to the track. At our last race a friend took out his b5 rm after the race and he really regretted he didn't race that one instead.
I remember when the b6.1 came out me and my wife each bought 1 we never did get it smoothed out but hey it was a fun build and a great car !! Great job on that race Ryan !! See ya on the next one!!
Very nice video and perfect race👍 I also like enough steering, also it's more difficult to drive... You should try the Agama N1e and the coming N110. Keep on racing 🐄💨
I can honestly say this B7 is a great car, just a little brittle for my bad driving. All the new issues and growing pains of a this model Team Associated addressed all my whiny issues without an issue...Don't be scared to purchase one...This will be a shelf queen until I get better at my track day....B6.4 is still my go-to weapon.....
Incredible driving, thanks for this in depth video. Been lapping a couple Losi the last year but an experienced driver I spoke with said his Associated was so much easier to drive 🤔
Why going back to associated. What happen to “TLR” . You should tried the MSB1 from Mugen seiki . Give us your input of the new all in one gear differential. It’s great video.
I'd like to see you run this B7 and then, back-to-back, run your locked-in, beloved TLR sitting on the shelf behind you. Which one is faster? Which one FEELS better?? Would LOVE to see that!!!
Stock. What a joke. This is what is wrong with rc racing. All those MODs, all that $$$, all those shirts with all those names on em. Just doesnt make sense. -U10
