I loved both these guys. I was always mad that they never gave them another chance to win the tag belts. They were over with the fans. And besides the Stiners, Luger and Sting, and Meng and the Barbarian, these guys were the NWO only real tag team threat. The fans wanted them to win. But Eric was so protective of his wrestlers and not what the fans wanted. Chris should have but more muscle on that would have matched his character. A bit to skinny to be a dark character. But he made it work. I remember this match like it was yesterday. And I truly thought the NWO finally met their match and they were going to win. I know it is scripted, but Eric should have let these guys win it and let them have the belts for a while.
Vince wouldn't even give luger the belt, dumbest move ever. And wcw at this time gave luger the most anticlimactic music ever. It sounds like a generic song you pick for your custom character on a WWE game. Epic win though. I remember it.
Bobby said ‘it’s not funny anymore’ at the very moment the promo had finished .He was right about that .but the promo itself was hilarious for the entire 10 minutes.
The Horsemen might be the original gang of wrestling but the Nwo perfected it from their style to the graffiti and the beatdowns. Although they should've been more exclusive to their membership like the Horsemen just goes to show everyone wanted to hop on the Nwo at the time.
Hogan was good as heel for a while but honestly they should of released him after Starcade 97 and went with the group they had. Hogan brought it all down with his creative control, he sucked at creating
Coolness. Yeah, that counts as a wrestling move. Honestly can't remember if they ever put that in the wrestling video games and the spooky fingers as a taunt as well? 😆
