That was Shaq's last year in the NBA. What else did he have to prove when he made it to his sixth NBA Finals appearance to clutch his fourth ring? The season before that, he led Miami to a 59 win season, and was second in the MVP race, behind Steve Nash. Shaq made the tweet because Jim Rome said he wasn't as dedicated as Kobe Bryant, which is absolutely absurd.
It's true, he wasn't as dedicated as Kobe, and he liked to eat 57 burritos at Taco Bell every day in the off season instead of staying in shape......but he still got 4 rings, so he did very well as it was
Rome talks way to much.. He could've just said, "no shaq i don't want to fight you,. You're arms are bigger than my legs, what do you expect you big fat idiot!" Rome going through all that explanation just makes him look stupid and afraid.
