Hello everyone, I tend to post whatever thing I'm into at the time, if there's something you want to know in a video don't be afraid to ask I try to respond to every comment
Good job, I've looked at andelli in the past, you really gotta decipher their sales patter. Plus, they seem to bring a new model out on a monthly basis.👍
@@DazFab_Metalworks yeah they know how to word it that's for sure, and honestly it did surprise me I'm gonna dig into their stuff a little further. Thanks for the comment!
Hey thanks man. I appreciate the effort you put in the video and using a 30 amp. Im going to have to give it a try now. I have a smaller geny (9000 peak predator) than you but i think it should work. Thanks bud.
@@administrator911 Anytime! I had fun with this one, your gen should be just fine those predators are pretty beefy from what I've seen, thanks for watching and have a great night!
When you were cutting, were you hooked up to home 50 amp or were you on a 30 amp generator? I couldn't tell if the sound was maybe a generator or just the fan of the cutter.
@@whattheweld9396 That would be cool. I just got one of these guys and I haven't tested it yet. All I have is a 30 amp dryer outlet or my 30 amp generator outlet. Nice video man.
@@administrator911 thank you! I will see when I get some free time and get that video uploaded. I do have another welder review coming as of now but I will have the plasma cutter on the generator after it :)
@@administrator911 video uploading as I post this! I went ahead and used a generator as well to add a little more struggle for the machine haha. Stay tuned! I shouted you out a few times as well.
Nice to meet you, I'm riding a Vulcan 1700 Voyager in Japan. I sent you a message because I wanted you to tell me the name of this muffler. Could you tell me if you don't mind? m(_ _)m
No problems! It's actually the stock mufflers that came on the motorcycle, I modified them myself to take the baffles out. I can go into further detail in a video if you really wanted
That's actually a trick of the camera haha, I definitely tightened it down but it sounds loose! It is the cheapest angle grinder on Temu so there's that as well.
I haven't tried the tig on body panels, but I did redo a few cab corners and door skins with the Mig, I will say the tig on this machine DOES NOT have gas control. Which means the argon line runs straight from the cylinder into your tig torch, which can be an issue if you are looking to just do tac welds on body panels. Just a heads up! Would it do it? Absolutely! Would it be easier than just using the Mig on a lower setting? Probably not :) thanks for the comment!
@@rongamble9884 that's probably your best bet, the omnipro is a "good at all" but definitely not the best in all categories! Good luck with your project!
I bought this maybe two years ago. Don’t buy the Chicago Electric welders. They are AC only. They’re terrible. While I don’t use this for anything big, I bought it as my shops are on two different floors and my welding is done upstairs. Since the ESAB is a 50 pound machine connected to two gas bottles, bringing it downstairs and up again is a real pain. So I bought this for small work mostly small repairs and mods of things such as welding extra height onto the bottom of my compressor to get to the freaking valve. Also as parts I make on my mill sometimes need to be welded together with precision fitting. So I tack it with this and then bring it upstairs to weld. Sorry this is so long, but this welder is just fine for what it’s intended for. One guy recently did a video of this and the title was “Don’t buy this welder”. Idiot! Good luck with the channel. I subbed and hope to see future videos. If they’re as thoughtful as this one, they should be pretty interesting.
Thank you for your comment, this is the kind of thing that keeps me motivated to make more videos! I'm glad to hear you like the welder as well it is a fantastic machine for the price. Once again thanks for the nice comment and the sub! I will be posting my Vulcan omnipro 220 this week so stay tuned!
I picked this one up a few days ago I've only used it a few times and I love it. My old Chicago welder finally took a crap the old blue one ive had for many many years
It's a fantastic Little machine for sure, I've yet to try out the Chicago electric but I am going to purchase one and do a review on that as well! Thanks for the comment and view!
Spool gun for the 220 is pretty great, I've ran roughly 20 lbs of aluminum through it and I didn't have any hiccups. Main benefit of the Everlast is it's ability to weld much hotter and heavier duty cycle. Still love my Vulcan tho!
I have an '08 1600 Nomad. I wasn't about to go through all that work with a hole saw and slidehammer, so I got a nice set of Cobras. Sounds loud, yet refined and definitely tolerable. Love them. Oh, and Dude? Put on some long pants, shoes, a jacket, and a helmet with eye protection. Are you nuts riding a motorcycle dressed like that?
I am absolutely nuts. I didn't go far I never went without gear on a ride just this time for a short video was all haha thanks for watching and I'm glad you enjoy that nomad still! I sold this one unfortunately, time to get something a bit bigger!
@@whattheweld9396 - Love my Nomad, but the only gripe I really have is that when I went for my first semi-long run of the season yesterday (60 miles) that rock hard seat about killed my ass and hip. Maybe I'm just out of riding shape after a long winter? But the Cobras sounded awesome!
ouch! I'm glad you haven't seen me on a short trip to get some beer. I'm riding in a tank top, shorts and crocs. The worse part of my comment is that it's true....lol
Sounds awesome 🤩 Could you explain how to go about this mod? How many plates i need to drill out from behind before the cat! Did you remove the plate from the front which is in front of the cat as well!!
Super sorry for the late reply, you need to drill out a singular plate to remove the front part of the baffle. The big issue comes from the baffle itself being welded in the actual exhaust, so therefore you need to use a slide hammer to remove them. And yes I removed the plate in front of the baffles as well. It was a very labor intensive project so I must warn you!
Very nice bike, i gutted the pipes on my own bike aswell but used a holesaw and wiggeld for about 10 minutes each and the came clean out, but after a while I became sick and tired of the constant loud noise during long rides so i put the baffles back in and just what potato salad claimes....much more enjoyable on the long run....
