This hits my heart in such a huge way and I’m sitting here in tears. So grateful I’m able to be in your Steward certificate program and working on my projects as many hours a day as I can to get the word out. Thanks to all of you for your tireless work! 🙏🏼💫💖💫❤️☮️🌎🥳😍
Question - so if you use option 3 and place the seeds in the refrigerator, can you then sow them under indoor grow lights? I have some echinacea and agastache seeds that I'd like to grow from seed, but have never had luck getting them to germinate.
Great introduction and love the "what we believe" and focus on change for the better and progress not perfection. So refreshing to know a variety of ideas are shared to get replicable results. Bravo!
Also currently working on a north balcony. I’ll come back and share my wins and failures. On the south side patio I’m trying prairie plants because I’m from the Midwest 😊

16:20 When talking about the weather, I've been extremely concerned about something I've noticed twice in the past few years from my home, zone 5 Denver CO. We've had a couple of "false springs" that have affected my plants. A lot are blooming way too early because of unusually warm winters followed by early springs, then frosts later in spring, later than I've ever seen growing up and living here in Denver. Last spring, a lot of my perennials that popped up earlier than usual died after the late snow we had, never to spring back with the warmth. I wonder what, if any, long-term effects false springs becoming more normal is going to have on our pollinators, flowers and plants?
Thank you for all you are and do for this important cause! - I believe you will be interested in the work of Prof. Olle Johansson to study what is causing the shocking (90% in US) decline in the honeybee population -- ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Eywyotb5ebM.html
Hello! I have only watched the first workshop and topic #1, but if the rest of the workshops are like Mr. Spevak's, I'll be using this link a lot. There is a ton of information that comes at you quick, but remember you can pause the video as needed. Great link and glad that Carlinville Bees posted this. I am working on a larger mostly wooded habitat for all creatures, large and small.
Really excellent presentation on establishing prairie restorations! We are spending a lot of time debating our seed mix species, ratios and rates for a prairie seeding this winter.
