Haven't had to use word for much in about a decade, so this was a nice lesson. Very well done, really like your cadence, so many youtubers talk super fast like they are on drugs or have a gun to their head, it was nice to have such a digestible pace!
Hi, can one enter the auto correct options in Word on internet, for free, in order to use as a text expander as explained in one of your videos..? I suspect not, as I've gone in circles trying to find a way, with no luck... Thanks 👍
Thank you. I wondered if I could save a custom watermark & goggle took me to your video. Excellent tutorial. I now have my custom watermark & that makes me ridiculously happy :)
I was a Word expert 30 years ago. Styles were a good tool then. Microsoft has messed up the Styles function so badly that it is unusable now and I'd sworn off Word for 15 years. I have recently taken up a task where Word would be a good tool, if it worked. Is there a way to get back the styles functionality of 30 years ago or do I have to find a Word Processor that is actually usable, like maybe Google Docs?
Question- in microsoft word 365 (mac) when you open the styles pane there is no function (icon) to open the manage styles box. Does anyone know how to open it? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
Deborah I have problem with word document I need you help with it. if possible I can show you and share my screen with you to tell me how to fix it. I would really appreciate it.
Fantastic tutorial.....expertly executed. Just found out today we would need to do a Table of Points & Authorities for the first time, and this explained it perfectly. Answered all my questions. Thank you!
Very helpful video. Please more Outlook videos! Also, as another commenter mentioned, you can get an email template dialog box right from the ribbon and it has all the standard formatting features. Same as you would find on Word. Much easier than creating the text on Word and cutting and pasting into Outlook.
I long ago discovered how to remove the clutter from my Styles Gallery. My problem (which I don't *think* you addressed in this video, unless I missed something) is that every single time I convert a PDF to Word using Adobe Acrobat, I get the same clutter again and have to manually prune the Styles Gallery. I even tried to create a macro that would record the removal of unwanted styles so that I could do it with the press of a button, but the macro facility does not record actions taken in the Styles Gallery (only changes made to the document). Is there any way to change the DEFAULT Styles Gallery?
