Yet, the downside is wanting to know that I am loved not just because of what I can do for them. Also, they see me as easygoing, kind, and sweet and know they can get whatever they ask me for. This video came across and it was a confirmation and such a powerful message. I have a similar personal story where I was dating a toxic person, I ignored the red flags, I thought I could fix him, it was bad this person drained me, I was at rock bottom when I got out of this relationship I left him without telling him a word I cut him out of my life. And no matter how much it sucks it was a learning lesson, to respect myself, have boundaries learning to say no, learning self care, I'm slowly moving on from my isolation season and healing atm. But I thank God for my life and I knew God and my angels were there for me throughout I am so grateful for my life and yeah sometimes it sucks bc I reflect on the past sometimes I have bad days, I appreciate life so much more I definitely have grown, ik what I want, I'm still working on my relationships with friends and people but I now know what I don't want in my life. But I have that peace that I know God is always and has always been there even through the tough times. Long story short I am grateful, still working on healing and loving myself, working on boundaries etc. Thank you so much for your story and your powerful message. ❤
This sounds like sound advice, but I wonder if its biblical. We aren't meant to rely on our understanding and God often does a new thing to renew our mind. God wants us to love everybody and go out like sheep among wolves with humbleness and meekness and fruit of the spirit. He wants to put us on the table to be a light and not be caught up in distractions of what aren't his commands! The bible says we cannot become his disciples unless we hate others, because he intends to cleans and heal us, polish us and get us ready for heaven by the power of our love. He led me through a relationship with a narcissist to train me to guard my heart and be loving, but also be firm in a loving way because they scapegoat and gaslight a lot. They actively seek destroying you. Previously, I just built a wall or threw people away so I encourage everyone to seek God humbly on what he wants to use "your situation" for. Allow your 'ground rules' to be straight out of the depth of his heart.
Sure, good question. This video isn't meant to negate the fact that God will at times call us to be in relationship with people that are terrible people. While at the same time, the Bible is not that linear to say that every time you encounter a bad person that you are indeed called to be in relationship with them due to a higher purpose. There are many references in the Bible that call you to flee toxic people. You should be discerning and asking God what His will is. However, if you know that someones fruits are ill and see that is affecting you negatively - you should, out of wisdom, flee. the message isn't for everyone or every situation, but is for those that it beared witness with.

Amen, thanks for sharing sis. There are some things I have been meaning to start, but I just haven't been feeling qualified enough. For instance, publishing a book and starting a non-profit. I just been focusing on getting licensed in my field first, so I can get a start in my career to have the necessary finances for everything. It's been an interesting season lol. This has been me for my whole life.... My grandmother saved my life because my father was murdered when I was 2 years old (he was 21) and my mother didn't want me after (she was around 19). Grandparents and my 3 uncles raised me. I thank God for it all, but because I had a strong upbringing good and bad, I had to realize that others aren't blessed to learn how to grow with and through experiences. I'm here because I agree with Cecillia, so to anyone who's going through an experience like what she's discussing, KNOW in your HEART and SOUL that God is right there inside you, available for you to connect to that perspective so that God can empower you. I love you. Everything you're going through, will be looked back at like, "Without those experiences, I wouldn't be the strong person I am."
I had to move from home... it was all from faith. I loveeeeee my family so much however, I had to get a way. The first year was hell, ya hear me? Hell sis. But guess what it was needed! I had to suffer for a while, but I know staying around toxic was only going to drain me and keep me from fulfilling the purpose God has on my life. <3 whether you end up staying or moving, i'm rooting for you sis!
I have a toxic friend who only wanna talk about women body parts and its degrading to women on top on of him talking about smoking weed,vaping delta 8 but the thing I am not really his friend cause my self my spirit won't allow that to get to me I know me I know where I'm going I don't care what people think of me I know my worth I know God is protecting me I got a force field around me only for negative, evil people but nobody can't hold me from leveling up cause I am strong 💪 thanks.
