Oh nooo, the sad part :c Xiao Bao is such a complex character. He seems very frivolous at first, but has many sides. I'm not fond of this no consent thing happening in most BL's, but I'm with your approach, let's pretend they consented :c Waiting for the next reaction! :D
Great reaction, as always your analysis of both leads is very on point~ I really love Taichi's growth in the story and I'm happy you seem interested in his arc too And yes Yoko knows that Kohei is hard-of-hearing!
i know its a bit toooo late but can someone plz tell me where i can find ep 3 reaction and more bcz i cant find them on youtube or dailymotion and i would love to continue to watch it bcz i am enjoying it too much
Thank you so much for this reaction video!!! I hope more people will notice your video, I really would love to see you continue to react to it if possible.
"You can't just kill people because you are in love!" I laughed so hard at this 🤣🤣🤣 Also yessss I still cant get over how deeply disgusting the scene is where the father compares a paper kite to Huaien! I'm not sure what exactly made it so creepy, perhaps the actor or the dialoge, but it was so effective. Made my skin crawl.
This show is midway into the 10 years Xiaoga spent behind the door, so we'll only see him in flashbacks, unfortunately. But I've watched 5 episodes so far and I'm enjoying it. I know you've watched Ultimate Note and the reboot, but have you watched the other shows in the franchise? I know they are much lass talked about, but I actually really enjoyed most of them and I think they do deserve a watch, even if they sometimes tell the same plot point in 2 or sometime even 3 completely different ways... if anyone claims that Wu Xie ISN'T in love with Xiaoga, they wouldn't have a leg to stand on 5 minutes into this show... 80% of Wu Xie is dedicated to Xiaoga...
This series is utterly glorious (and beautifully gay) and yeah I personally appreciate the mix of humor and the seriousness here. Especially in this episode where we had Huaien opening up about his trauma. I particularly love the scene at the beginning where Huaien genuingly asks why does Xiaobao feel sad over the possibility of his father dying and the way Xiaobao doesn't laugh him off, instead tries to seriously asnwer Huaien the best he can. Huaien is like a sponge soaking up all the care and love Xiaobao gives even tho he doesn't fully know how to respond yet. Also the background song at the beginnig of the reaction you mentioned is sung by Li Le, Huaien's actor, it's called "Unafraid of Long Nights". I can't recommend enough checking out the full OST, all the 4 songs have the most beautiful lyrics that _will_ absolutely hurt you.
This show covered some things from the final chapters of vol 8 that Ultimate Note didn't cover. The drama adapts the Tibetan Sea Flower novel which covers the events prior to Sand Sea/ Tomb of the Sea. All I can say as a novel reader is that so far they did a really good job adapting the story in the novel
You weren't the only one caught off guard. There was no warning whatsoever. NPSS just posted on weibo like "oh, by the way the new show is out as of 3 minutes ago!" As you can imagine, the fandom has been in a state of panic ever since 🤭
Also, the thing Xiao-Ge fought in the beginning was one of the miloutou, the green monsters from Ultimate Note. And Xiao-Hua was in bed because he was injured in the book between Ultimate Note and this show (the one hinted in the dream but hasn't been fully adapted yet). He was in hospital for a long time.
I enjoyed the video. This is one of my favourite novels. It may be the only series among Chinese novels that I almost never get stressed while reading asdfkjk. The couple was so cute and I think Jing Wang is one of the greenest flag characters in many ways. I missed them and now I'm so excited to read them again with you.(❁´◡`❁)
Not sure why, but I really love this derpy novel. Knowing vaguely what I know I’m nervous (middle of book 2.) but - Made me giggle, and Hi friend! <3 also all the blushes.
1:21 omg i always think about this as well !! bc at my uni fortunately we are allowed so i just record everything to be sure, and if i missed something i can just listen to it again at home :')
This is the final reupload of my readalongs that I did on twitch. Starting Tuesday (27 Aug) I'll be back to doing my readalongs live here on youtube like normal. 🙂 Thank you for your understanding everyone! <3
in the novel, the cave scene has an adult scene to where they did it in the water, after that Xiaobao was washing Huai-En's hair and he said "I want to wash your hair forever, you know what I mean right?", the actors said that they originally want to include that scene in live action but unfortunately the weather is cold during their filming days so they didn't film it. Also in the novel Huai-En already thinks of Xiaobao as husband after their second time doing the deeds because he thinks that it is how the relationship works. He doesn't know what to do and just accepted it, and yes Huai-En is a h*rny beast in the novel. 😂
