Great video! That said, there is a faster way to get the Flame Orb in HGSS that does not involve BP. If you schedule a rematch with Faulkner at the Fighting Dojo, his Swellow will be holding a Flame Orb, and so you can use a move like Thief or Trick to steal it from him.
Question about something I never really understood about RNG manipulation: If you're already using PKHex to find your SID, and you can find your Mew's target spread (PID, Nature, Ability, IVs, characteristics, etc.) via PokeFinder, what's stopping you from just capturing the Mew, and then editing in PKHex to match the desired spread? Wouldn't that result in the exact same Mew as if you had RNG'd it? I was able to RNG Manip a shiny Sudowoodo in Colosseum last autumn/winter, and I find the method 100% legitimate, but I found myself wondering if it would just have been quicker to edit the desired Sudo since I was already using PKHex to find my SID.
im a fan of it being difficult. If it were easy everyones team would just be looking like smogon. All this work you did to make this team, you think anyone else has such a beast of a team? Is that not satisfying and rewarding. I also just really like the immersion of having to hunt down the best version of top tiers in multiple regions.
Quick question. I have the cute charm glitch. Recently my game has been saving on its own. This has ever happened before. Anyone have any idea why it’s doing this? Any help would be appreciated.
Gf literally needs to just add a showdown mode into home or something. Even if it’s something like you have to pay for the subscription and have the mon in your home dex to use it, it’s better than anything they could do to streamline actually building the team yourself in game.
This is a weird question BUT: I was able to get myself a Japanese e reader and I wanna do all these events from the videos you made. Are the codes you’ve done compatible to the Japanese e reader?
Hours are put in practice. Building a team in-game is unrelated to that game. Also do you think it’s good that there’s a large cost barrier to entry for many sports?
@@imablisy Building a team is part of the game. $500 is nothing if you want to be an elite competitor for any sport. Hell, sneakers and a couple sets of workout clothes will run you that much. Don't justify cheating - looks like the VGC has finally started taking the integrity of the game seriously this past season.
@@imablisy I don't consider that a high monetary cost. Everything in life costs money. In the U.S., a kid can earn $500 mowing lawns or doing odd jobs. If you want to compete at that level, you need to be willing to make sacrifices. Being an elite athlete should take up most of your time and a fair bit of resources.
I would say that the sv tm system is definitely more fun than just fishing around in your bag for the one that you need but I can see how it would be annoying if you’re trying to be quick, it definitely needs some work.
A turbo controller definitely doesn’t count as cheating because Nintendo literally sells officially licensed controllers with turbo Edit: now I’m at that point in the video and ig it’s not really the same, but honestly the pokemon itself is still legal and it’s just faster in the same way that rng manipulation itself is. Also why does your sv character kinda slay
i understand alot of issues in this video but what is wrong about the money part? if you are a racer to start you need a car to be the best you need the best car which is also most of the time more expensive than just a car
It’s pay to win to own the games? lol if you were a real Pokémon fan and not only in it to make money from tournaments or RU-vid you would buy the games to play regardless of if they had tournaments because you like Pokémon and aren’t only looking to make money. And your comparison to Super Smash Bros you forgot one thing: if you buy a pro controller you spend the same price as both of those games combined and I’m pretty sure you always have more than one controller because they get drift quickly and you should probably have 2 controllers MINIMUM in case one malfunctions during tournament play. Ao if owning the game is pay to win then you must be a brokie
for anyone struggling to hit your shiny frame on emerald, i had the same problem and spent over 9 hours hitting within 1-2 frames of the target but never hitting the shiny frame so i took the advice of some of the other comments and caught a ralts with synchronize and the same nature as the shiny target, put it at the front of the party, and switched to the old rod instead of the super rod and i hit the shiny feebas on the literal first try... for some reason it appears the fishing method requires the synchronize method in some cases to actually hit the correct frame, not sure how much the rod really matters but synchronize is for sure the key factor so hopefully this helps anyone having the same problem i was
@@DraculHemming that’s not true at all. Often times you need specific speed for trick room to underspeed there and outspeed out of it. In this vid iron hands had a 29 speed iv. There’s no way to tell without an iv calc lol
If you're playing on an emulator on the same PC with access to tools like Finder and Timer, it seems logical that someone could program the timer to automate an "A" input perfectly each time. This would eliminate human error and ensure consistent performance. It’s a straightforward task for a programmer, leveraging automation scripts or simple macro software to achieve precise timing. The fact it hasn't been widely adopted after all these years is weird to me. Like we have software that could be calibrated to anyone’s game and somehow “magically” know exactly what stats/nature/shiny modifier each frame is until eternity. But there is yet to be an “auto A” program 🤯
