I work as a cleaner,If any fire's did break out any time,If they do,Has happend before I worked there,Me and other emplyees just escape out of the near by fire exit's,Let the fire brigade deal with it when they arrive
Thats true,C02 made out of a different gas was not flamable it will smuthel out all the flames,Mostly on fires contain,Oil and other flammable liquids,Lets put this way,Won't want to be putting water on it,Unless if you want to feed the flames and make them 100000 times worse,I would rather use the foam fire extinguisher on class B fires,Such as flammable liquids fires,The foam be as good as the C02 extinguisher,Use the water extinguisher on class A fires such as wood, paper ect,Any thing really not contain any flammable liquids,Dry powder be enough to smuggle out flames on all class fires
sometimes having windows open when a fire breaks out,Tons of wind comes in,That extra oxygen,Also help spread the fire even quicker,I know that as well,Never put any thing infront of any fire exists,Other wise its a dangerous hazard,Know that as well,Thats why faulty electricals can catch fire,Thats why I charge up my Electric bike when I can keep an eye on it,They can burst in to flames,Fires can start up just for some one dropping a fag end in a bin and not notice nothing,Very true,All employees will have quickly esacape once the fire Alarms sound of,Allways close windows,If its windy,That help spread the fire,If its a Gad leak,Open up all the windows WIDE open and quickly escape and never flick a switch on,Gas leaks ever happens,Switch of the Gas supply,Only take as little as a spark,Could will cause Gas explosion
Lets see how I do on this Fire traning Video,After done a fire traning at work today witch was good fun,Also done this sort of training quite a lot over the years as well
I've noticed that there's always at least one element of doubt whoch comes into play with fire safety and fire fighting training. Human behaviour and confusion which is caused by too much information. I don't need to know what class a fire is and to be told for example that Dry Powder id for fighting Class A, B, C etc. I just need to know which type of fire each extinguisher should not be used on. So for example...everyone knows not to use Water on electrical....simple and never forgotten. Also why does no training video ever show the dangers of using CO2 for godssake!
me when i drop a hundred thousand fireworks in the middle of my town surrounded by mountains and start a chain reaction, obliterating everything in a 50 mile radius
Not bad, but some clunky dialog: 'prevented by putting some simple safety procedures in place'. Better: 'prevented by having simple safety procedures' Saved three words; punchier, quicker to absorb, easier to learn from. No one walking around which place to put the procedures in.
It's supposed to be basic and show moving so it's idiot proof, well almost! I train people in fire safety and it's surprising how easy people can switch off. This is a decent video, basic yes but decent.
