Hey guys it's Tape The Grape and this is my RU-vid channel I do random videos about Cars, Music, Guitars, Food, Exploration, and Memory Videos for me to watch when I get older.
I just bought a 2001 sienna CE with 144,000 miles on it. Like your I have rust underneath but nothing to worry about right now, but so far I enjoy it and hope to have it for 400,000 plus thousand miles!
Awesome!.. Just be sure to keep up maintenance on your timing belt.. mine snapped and ruined the engine.. otherwise the van was perfect, it's a darn shame
Does Schnucks use Kronos? The supermarket I'm at in over in SC uses Kronos and that app is complete garbage. The system automates measly 4 hour-4.75 days without a lunch, and recently it's been giving me 14-15 hour pay periods every week. My managers have sadly been tight on hours but with associates going out of town, the hours are still not there. I have monthly payments to make for my car and it needs new tires. None of this is cheap either.
Thanks for helping that poor situation turn into a good life for Lucky....He is truly named the right name.........He is LUCKY to have you guys giving him the help he desperately needs....Thanks Tape
Certainly! I agree. I can't believe somebody would let it get this bad but there are some bad people in this world.. Thankfully it's all over for him though and nothing but a good life from now on
I have been researching this issue on these cars for a while now and they are unique in that the box that the trailing arm bolts up to which rots out is usually the only thing that rots out. In this video if you look into the hole in the mount you can see the floorpan is still solid metal, not even surface rust on it! This presents an opportunity to bolt the trailing arm mount into the upper floor, without welding. While most cars the TA mount is directly bolted to the floor so when it rots out the only solution is to rebuild the floor of the car.
That's exactly what I thought too! Everyone said it was about to fall apart but where it actually connected was still solid But sadly I ended up selling this car about a month ago due to the mount in the "box" started to wiggle in place (Presumably detached from rust from the actual unibody) They gave me a good 4 years though And I only bought it for $550 So I definitely think I got my money's worth out of it If it wasn't for that I would still have this car as it ran and drove great . curse the salt they put on the roads in the North I loved that car dearly and was the best car I've ever owned out of 9 or 10 different cars
I'd say so.. a few days ago there was a similar case with three properties being burned again.. Either they are some type of organized crime for the city or they're doing their own thing but who knows
I had a 98 blazer better hope the heater core doesn't go out. The entire dash needs to come off, and the steering wheel. Hundreds of screws, took 12 hrs. Great video on utube somewhere, that shows a step-by-step removal.
Pretty normal for a heater core to be behind the dash, I used to have a Jeep Cherokee I just cut a access panel to service it. Also cut an access panel to replace the fuel pump instead of dropping the tank because the quality of aftermarket parts are garbage & I knew the likelihood of it either not working or failing withing a year were high, thanks for that doorman.. only buy Mopar now
I gave my brother a hard time for buying them but today I tried them an there awesome an taste way better then the original but that cheese is crap.😂👍🏻
Dude, dont take this the wrong way. Actually you just might find yourself a new career. Bozo the Clown has Red Hair and he was Bold on Top. You have Red Hair and you are Bold on top.
@@tapethegrape8195 - No way. Did you know Steve -O went to clown college. You do know who Steve - O is right? If not you need to google him. He was in all of the Jackass movies. Heyyy, those guys are getting old and are going to need replacements. If Steve - O can do it, so can you. Especially if you had a serious brain injury when you were a kid and don't know the difference between pretending to hurt yourself and hurting yourself. 😵💫 I'm only playing, except for the Steve - O part. Oh, one more thing. My sister is having a surprise party for my niece on August 11th. We are looking for a clown. Any chance you're near Northern California.
The older ones do seem to be more prone to it. My '07 has 130k miles on the original front end components and is still doing fine. I live in Michigan too. My '02 was not the same story.
Looks like a nice car. I have one of the newer Grand Marquis myself. Been driving it for 4 or so years now and 50k miles and have only had a single part fail. Side note, I've managed to remove the armrests in my car before with the seats in the car. Its a bit of a challenge but it can be done.
Bought a tire from Walmart and they said they could not mount it cause I had a stripped lug nut. According to their policies. So I changed it in the parking lot. Smh. I also don't believe they put the right oil in your car regardless of what their system says.
That's crazy! I know Walmart's not allowed to use "heavy duty tools" They aren't even allowed to use a metal Hammer when necessary only a rubber mallet. Something to do with their liability nonsense they have in their policy.. And yes I don't believe it's the right oil as well so I think I will buy oil additive such as Lucas to help thicken it up but I'll do some research first to see if it's worth it
@@tapethegrape8195 no metal tools? Pathetic lol. ( Respectivly asking) is there anyone there to show you how to change your own oil? ( maybe you know how) You would be alot better off changing it out to protect the engine.
As far as I know the only metal tools they're not allowed to use are hammers LOL I couldn't imagine a rubber wrench LOL.. And yes I know how to do an oil change but I just go to Walmart for convenience.. but I'll just have to remember to tell them 5W30 from now on
Thank you!. I did get a little bit on the tires but I'm not too worried about it since I'll be getting new tires eventually.. I looked at the date code and these ones if I read them correctly are from 2014 definitely dry rotted and has a couple questionable areas lol
I found out that the failed power steering is a common issue on these and similar GM products of this era due to electronic power steering rather than mechanical with fluid and they don't seem to last of that long.. my dad has a Pontiac G6 that is having the same issue. As for the no start issue we found out that it needed a new starter, after that it started right up Good luck, hope this helps
The fact that I go there for 6th grade now for CAPA and the capa hall is where you said the cafeteria was and then the door that you entered for school is where I entered from the buses
