The older ones do seem to be more prone to it. My '07 has 130k miles on the original front end components and is still doing fine. I live in Michigan too. My '02 was not the same story.
Looks like a nice car. I have one of the newer Grand Marquis myself. Been driving it for 4 or so years now and 50k miles and have only had a single part fail. Side note, I've managed to remove the armrests in my car before with the seats in the car. Its a bit of a challenge but it can be done.
Bought a tire from Walmart and they said they could not mount it cause I had a stripped lug nut. According to their policies. So I changed it in the parking lot. Smh. I also don't believe they put the right oil in your car regardless of what their system says.
That's crazy! I know Walmart's not allowed to use "heavy duty tools" They aren't even allowed to use a metal Hammer when necessary only a rubber mallet. Something to do with their liability nonsense they have in their policy.. And yes I don't believe it's the right oil as well so I think I will buy oil additive such as Lucas to help thicken it up but I'll do some research first to see if it's worth it
@@tapethegrape8195 no metal tools? Pathetic lol. ( Respectivly asking) is there anyone there to show you how to change your own oil? ( maybe you know how) You would be alot better off changing it out to protect the engine.
As far as I know the only metal tools they're not allowed to use are hammers LOL I couldn't imagine a rubber wrench LOL.. And yes I know how to do an oil change but I just go to Walmart for convenience.. but I'll just have to remember to tell them 5W30 from now on
