Not being rude, but Not much of a starter guide. I learned nothing after just buying one. You kinda just explained what upgrades you put on your max. Not how to turn it off. Dos or don’ts nothing about, nice video and leaned about upgrading but nothing about intro to the max
I finally got my RCS chassis in the mail yesterday and put it together, loving it a lot so far. Did they make that servo guard also? That's an awesome addition and I'd love to get one. I put a picture of my build in r/AxialSCX6
I ended up going with the proline super swampers and they are slowly breaking in but they seem to hook a lot harder than the stock tire. The motor is a bit loud but it has a lot more torque/ wheel speed than stock on 4s
Thank you so much for posting this, I couldn't find anyone at all with an SCX6 chassis from them posted anywhere. I have been working with RCSpeedy for the last month or two on an SCX6 chassis too, hopefully it ships soon. I also went with the angled shock mounts and the servo mount option. Are you happy with yours? Would you change anything?
You will like it bro it’s a nice cage I couldn’t find a video either so that’s why I made my own and I wish you you could buy an interior or at least have a file to make an interior
@@MrJoseph5120 oh I love the performance i have a holmes hobbies team spec in my VRD Carbon. But it has his silent esc. Im actually looking fir options for my scx6. Wish they made a silent esc big enough!! Im sure eventually
That zoom in and jump at 2:54 made me crack up the way it just nose dives lmao. I've been upgrading mine since I got it on sale recently. Love the way the truck looks when its running!
Nice setup man. Just got my portals and brass today. Debating on adding rear brass but i want to wheel it first. Now to just wait on my links and steering servo
Dude that thing screams! Definitely the type of set-up I'm looking for. Did you use hub extenders with the Badlands..? I heard tire rub is an issue in the rear
My Losi Super Rock Ray does the same thing. Changing the spring rate and shock oil on the rear suspension helps a little but not much. I find that punching the throttle when you leave the ramp will keep the nose up in the air , unlike the other cars that fly neutral in the air this one likes to kick it’s tail up in flight. Takes a while to get adjusted.
This seems to be a slasher not a basher, this is a baja truck not a scale truck (like the udr). Looks like you have alot of work to do to get it right.
Try not to go full throttle at the jump and go half throttle then hit full throttle before the jump. Your going at it full throttle with no ability to adjust in the air because your already maxxed out on the throttle
