Hmm, I was wondering if you can take a beginner sim wheel and upgrade the motor like the logitech G29/923 and use the logitech housing for a sleeper look
yo bro I'm making this masterpiece for my thesis. I have already regretted a thousand times that I chose this, but there is no turning back. Is it possible to somehow contact you (or someone who has already collected it) for any questions?
Grazie!
Sorry, maybe my assumption of you being italian was wrong, here you get the translated comment: Hi there, First of all, I want to compliment you and say that you are absolutely underrated on RU-vid, both for the quality of your videos and the quality of your projects. I’m taking advantage of your new video, excellent as always, to ask you something: in the past month, I felt like building a racing simulator. So I searched online to understand how to do it and found, besides another video from which I got inspiration for the pedals, your video, where you show how to build the steering wheel. However, I didn't build the entire force feedback system: I got inspiration from another video that uses a simple potentiometer. After modifying the 3D files and DXF files to adapt them to my buttons and to use springs instead of magnets in the paddles, I built it. Thank you so much for sharing the files and the construction video! It turned out so well that I got the idea of making a kind of kit for the steering wheel and pedals to sell, not the digital files, but the physical ones as a kit to assemble. I wanted to ask if it would be okay with you if I used these "remixed" files and some completely remodeled from scratch, inspired by yours, for this project. If you prefer (and to make it clearer), I can send you photos and screenshots of the modified parts. Thanks!
Cool build very inspirational I think I'm going to copy this build but full suspension and I'm going to get the universal torque sensor And the cycle analyst with phase runner
been wanting to do this for years mate! thanks for the inspo! i have soo many hub motors laying around being a scooter tech. i need to use them for other things!
@@DAZprojects use some vibrance in photoshop , it will make color more distinct "though this thumbnail is bit better." some time make it bit more stupider , kids are gona get you views and then it will be picked up by algorithms
Hello friend, how are you?, I had a problem a while ago with my computer and I ended up being banned on discord! Would it be possible to remove it so I can return to discord please?
@@DAZprojects That sounds good. I just made this as a private hobby project. I don't plan any further moves. But if you're interested in the technical details, I'd be willing to share the info.
can you help me choose a power supply? is using 24volt 10amp 500watt enough? or do i need a higher wattage? and isn't the hoverboard motor 36 volts? i also found a 36volts 28amp 1000watt power supply. i hope you can help me on choosing the right power supply. thank you in advance
is this a lot better than a thrustmaster t300? i have a t300 and i was thinking of building this one, but is it worth it or should i stick with my t300? thanks a lot
Look at my latest video where I built a sim racing wheel from a hoverboard motor, you should be able to build it for around 200€, and you get a direct drive wheel base with 15nm of torque and amazing build quality. That would be much better than the thrustmaster t300 since it pumps out peaks of 1500w of power, and has a nominal power of 350w. Compared to the 25w of your wheel. It also is direct drive which is definitely a plus.
Hi! Could you please re-upload the files for "Building a DIY portable Laser Engraver"? I would like to build a portable laser for myself, but your links are dead.
Awesome! keep up with the contents! The quality is amazing! I'll try a similar project this summer, starting to look for cheap/thrifted hoverboards. :)
Finally someone has figured out that you need double down gearing. Multiple sprockets gives a multiplication of the torque which is the most important parameter making an ebike motor solution. Well done!
