@@GeekOfAllTrades over at ckpool... They are talking about it right now at the bitaxe discord... You could be first youtuber to report on it... Was literally minutes ago
Not that I will keep mining in the basement, because I don't want those super high power bills again, but a little bit outta pocket, I can afford. Glad I tried this, the AC infinity fan was just sitting there not being used, and the rest of the gear was waiting to come back online too. Heck why not, right?!?
I have a bag of Doge and LTC already, and I want to pump up some of my KAS bags more, so using Unmineable is helping me get there. Use code GEEK on Unmineable to save on your mining fees too
If you look at the tokenomics, nodes get only 20% of the rewards, rest go to the team and investors. Congrats on everyone who got a node and made the timpi team half a million dollars richer.
If you catch this video in time, you can snag a Timpi node here, and save 10% with code GEEK: cutt.ly/9ej3v9SI What do you think about this project? I love stuff like this that can replace or augment "Big tech" ecosystems, especially when it comes to rewarding participants! I been holding some capital for a lite series KASPA or Doge device. Goldshell will prob only release them when we are in full bull so they can charge 10X what they could today. Happy to see Ice River start to eat some of that Goldshell market share.
Wish they didn't put a psu in it.. would bring cost down. And If it craps out how easy is it to replace. But other than that I want one. It's a Fuhken GOAT!! Awesome content!

I feel like it's a little to high in price for what you are getting, but the build on the box is outstanding. Higher quality that I would expect from a mini box miner, for sure!
@geekofalltrades So what can we do with these helium miners. I have 2, only 1 onboarded, for 2.yrs now and made 50 bucks. I don't even think I can sell the Pi's in them for anything good to break even.
I'm wondering what other hardware you use instead of unifi. Are you happy with your other ecosystem ? Your brain might be the problem. Yes, I had some trouble with the USG, but it's old HW you are blaming. Mine works great now.
To be honest, i probably didn't give as much effort as i could have into unifi. I had it for years in my last home, with these adoption issues at the new place, in addition to the enterprise level pricing of their gear, i personally went another direction. I've been using tp-link omada, and their ui is so much like ubnt, I'm surprised they haven't been sued lol. The gear is much more reasonably priced too. Thanks for the view & the comment 👍
yep, 100% GPU crypto miners driving up prices for graphics accelerators. TOTALLY not anything to do with the $100million in AI workloads being built every month from just ONE of a multitude of companies focusing on AI infrastructure. NOPE, it's most definitely the guy with 20 GPUs in his basement, chasing $0.04 per day in Ravencoin
@@GeekOfAllTrades True but still plays a part before AI was this big disease that companies put on everything, AI is taking every GPU price to the moon which is sad for people who want a system that doesn't lag. I shouldn't of said crypto is driving up the price.
You’re not crazy… Well, maybe 😂 JK. All the Octo 12’s that I have come like that. I had been told they can work without that last wire to the backplane but I always wire it up anyway 👍🏻
