I noticed on my gecko Ripley the little white dots/patches and got really worried, seeing Gizmo has similar spots makes me more relieved that its just a little bit of stuck shed, thank you for sharing 💜
So, is it alright to pick up a juvenile Leo when she is shedding, it’s time to do a clean out but she’s shedding, im worried she might get scared and try to bite, or run off my hand, what do I do?
Water your plants! It isn't hard to.keep live plants in arid tanks, overly deep substrate is not required, you just have to thoroughly water your plants after the substrate dries out. If you press your finger in two inches or so and the soil is dry, as one of my favorite houseplant shorts content creators always says, drown that ho
You need the plants. They are so easy to takecare of. I have mine with a chineses LED bar, pothos, spider plant, several sucullents. They just need light and to actually soak the substrate in water every two weeks. Yesterday I had a friend that knows a lot about plants visit my house and he was amazed how the plants in the terrarium looked better than the ones outside in pots.
Jumping spiders are incredibly smart. They listen when you talk to them, they will chase laser pointers, and they watch you with curiosity. I don't much care for spiders, but I have a few wild jumpers that I keep around for my houseplants. I scold them when they come to close to my desk, and they listen.
just a tip for using most disinfectants: you want to clean Before you disinfect. All the algae and dirt prevents the solution from contacting the bowl itself which sort of defeats the purpose of it. So scrub the stuff off first, rinse, then disinfect and let it sit, then rinse it again.
I just want to thank you for all the beginner reptile videos you do, they’ve been SO helpful!! I know my lil leopard gecko is getting the most up to date information thanks to you!🦎
@@exxzxz waiit I've been using diluted Bleach /water to disinfect tank during a deep clean and then I rinse that after. Is that bad? Should I start buying a retail reptile disinfectant instead ?
Rebecca, personally I think all of your gecko tanks are pretty fabulous ! They not only look amazing…like you took a chunk of their natural habitat and set it into the enclosures….but they are also very functional as well ! I have 3 leopard geckos & 2 monitors. Long story short, but unfortunately all 3 of my geckos are each in a 25gal zoomed tank. Haven’t been too thrilled about that ! I wish I could fly you from the U.K down to me in Florida lol & pay you to do your awesome enclosure builds for my 3 geckos ! Because when it comes to enclosure set ups, it’s a serious struggle for me lol. I do have 3 questions… What % UVB do you use ? How many watts is your LED jungle dawn ? & Lastly….How do you get these awesome enclosure companies to sponsor you ? Thank you for your great videos & all of your great information on your channel ! 😊🦎👍🏻
I just transferred my Leo to a 60-40 diy substrate mix he has around 5 inches of substrate. He’s still getting use to it atm. It’s far from perfect but it’s 40 gallons and in the future I want to get a front opening enclosure. If you go to my community you can see and give feed back. Btw his humidity kinda high because of the substrate
You are not the best example either, you treat geckos as if they were babies and people are copying you, all amino and reddit communities became a mob based on your obsession. This was supposed to be fun, and it is obvious that there is not only one good way of having leos. Im sick of leo communities and you are a big part of the cancer killing them.
My leopard gecko coco has MBD I have been watching your videos and done everything you have done but she still got it and in worried I’m doing everything I can do you have any tips?
