CIS-Jetronic.com is the front-store of American Precision Machinery (incorporated with BEINindustry Corp.) and is located in Northern California, Sierra Nevada, Oregon, and the greater Seattle area. In addition to being the main supplier for fuel system auto parts for classic and modern cars, with a focus in Bosch fuel systems for automobiles, American Precision Machinery also manufactures Repair Kits for Bosch Fuel K-Jentonic and KE-Jetronic Systems.
In both the K-Jetronic and KE-Jetronic systems, top springs were employed. We may state, without going into specifics, that these springs were utilized in the manufacture of the first distributors. Later, Bosch left them behind.
ough idle, low power, high MPG, not flexible acceleration, too long of a cranking time with a hot engine.......you probably have a damaged fuel distributor diaphragm (even the smallest one) or an internal leak in the fuel distributor, or both. This is probably because of modern fuel additives & the introduction of ethanol into fuel.
I have a 89 vw with the 1.8 motor. The control valve is frozen so it's not allowing fuel to pass through to the fuel injectors. Does your company offer a rebuild kit that also contains the filter screen for the control valve. The fine mess screen on mine has a hole in it. It's a 89 vw cabriolet with a 1.8 non turbo gas motor...
Hi. I have a 1988 model 230E w124 case mercedes. I want to remove the gas dispenser and replace this kit. Where can I find the repair kit set? can you help me?
@@CISJetronic How do you measure the screws and flow? I have read that measuring with a caliper is sufficient, others say it needs to be flow tested and adjusted.

Moisten liberally with brake fluid - warm up with a heatgun or hair dryer - moisten liberally with WD40 and clean engine oil - heat again and remove while cooling
Do you mean a plunger filter and a spring? The video is not about that :"Matching of the o-rings from the repair kit for Bosch K-Jetronic 8 CYL Fuel Distributor. Tips and tricks on how to easily assemble the distributor....."
I don’t know. I feel that you have shown wrong direction on the plunger by your finger. position of the kerf mark of aligning on the Control plunger barrel.

It would be better if he'd talk and explain the procedure. There's is some things that he should point out that you can't understand just seeing him put it together. There's many mistakes that will be done by him ,not explaining. And this will cause a lot of issues when it's put on the car and it doesn't work properly.
I have a BMW 323i E21, (1979) (has the K Jetronic) Andy im trying to start it after 13 years, but the engine is working badly and cannot take more than 1500rpm. My mechanic said that the problem is the fuel distributor. Is this something that can be repaired? I have found a used one, but im afraid if has also the same problem, since this things are all old Thanks

hello all help pls . i get opened distributer iron cast same this number , i have doubt how to fixed 8 spring with washer and metal cup ,any instructions or photo . waiting help
No they are very simple to rebuild, just O-rings and a diaphragm. Its a very easy DIY job. I have done one for a 560SEL and I will be rebuilding the one on my 1986 Rolls Royce next week.
@@TheBusinessRoom I have 420sel when I pop mine apart i noticed the lil 8 3mm flow nozzle are not all at same height. Don't have fancy machine to calibrate individual chambers. Wonder if you have info on proper height or screw turns?
@@MrWiz8477 all i do when I rebuild these fuel heads is I put it back together exactly the way it came apart. I don’t mix pieces and put them in places they didn’t come out from. As for the adjustment screws. I just screw them in and count how many turns it takes and make a note. That’s how I’ve always rebuilt these. Never had an issue yet. Once you start putting pieces in different spots you will have to send out the fuel head for calibration. Putting pieces back in the same spots keeps the calibration the same. The goal is just to change all the seals.
One more quick question. My 92 Mercedes 300e 2.6 liter every since I had a back fire thru the intake I've been getting warm hard starts. When i looked down the throttle body blade pass the flap I see a puddle of raw fuel. Swap out all of the injectors, cold start valve, and accumulator are all brand new. This leads me to believe that I might have a bad O ring or seal in my fuel distributor causing the hard warm starts. Now if I hold down the gas peddle it will start up or if the car has been sitting for a few hours it fires right up. Morning starts ups are lighting fast. New AGM Battery, plugs wires cap, rotor, and new OVP were installed. Any feed back would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Walt,

CIS-Jetronic Thanks again for the information. I'm going go get the rebuild kit. I have half the mind to just pull the motor completely out, and swap a LS 5.3 liter chevy engine and trans. All of those parts that I mentioned cost me oove $1,000 bucks, and now I just found out I need a water pump. Which is a pain in the ass to replace.
CIS-Jetronic I really don't see that being done in an hour. Now I did watch a couple videos on youtube, and most say from 4 to 6 hours. If you have any secret tips I'm all ears. Once again thank you.
Who works at Mercedes service stations perfectly aware that the by Mitchell replacement head gasket it requires around 12 hours, but in fact, by a standard 8-hour shift have time to do two such work (own experience). But honestly, such specialists do not work at official stations for a long time. competition… all guys piss-off…
