Surely he had that race in the bag, before the gear lever decided to come off in his hand. Honestly the Capri such a great car !!, i owned a 1977 Ghia back in the 80,s , it was the best car I've ever owned , it looked great and handled very well, albeit a bit tail heavy as they've got such a long bonnet, i still regret the day i sold it !! as today they,ve become kinda iconic and command in good Nick eye prices. The racing ones such as the Capri in this great video the 3100, and the Cologne Capri humbled Porshes in their day. ✌👍
I bought my red 2.8i in August 1991 and a MK1 3 litre GT ford capri that is now an ETCC ford "works" touring car replica in blue and white with 16 inch 3 piece split rims and a box arch body kit with a duck tail spoiler. Looks almost the same as this one.
