Great video, I just bought a Garmin GPSMAP 743xsv. I am going to have it professionally flush mounted. I noticed that there is an SD card in one of the 2 slots which is in the rear of the unit. I am not sure what's on the card. Should I leave it in or take it out. I did install a blank card into the second slot, what should I do?
Gosh mrs. Fisher person I’ll bet you’re a real fisher person with all those electronics. Mrs. Fisher person you can put that livescope where the sun don’t shine, take away your electronics and you couldn’t catch enough fish to feed yourself. I know Girl Scouts who could out fish you.
At some places, you can find the 126sv without the transducer or with the transducer. If I’m trying to use it for livescope, do I need to buy the package with the transducer? I’m super confused about this whole with and without transducer thing.
Any thoughts on re-urposing an old trolling motor and taking the actual prop off? Used 12v trolling motors are often sold for a couple hundred dollars or less, and come with foot pedals.
Wow. Been driving myself crazy on this since getting my 126sv. Super frustrating making marks and chasing over to down imaging and not finding the structure and fish.
Thank you for this video. I was on the fence about putting mine on another pole but I'm fishing more and more these days. I think I'll just keep it on the tm.
Where do you get that mount for the 30amp breaker ? I am trying to get that exact same type of mount for my on/off disconnect switch but I can only find the corner mounts ? Please let me know as have been trying to find a mount where you can mount it to a straight section and not a corner mount !
10/8/23 I just bought a 126sv and I have a 93sv at console,on the 126sv only one of the network ports on the back work for networking or for livescope. When I plug the transducer into the port that recognizes it and I plug the network cable into the other port and the units do not communicate however if I swap the livescope and the network cable they now communicate but it doesn’t recognize livescope transducer? Thoughts
That is not that case with my 126sv echomap. Only one of the network port recognizes my livescope transducer and networks with my console graph. When I plug network cable into the other port it does not communicate, this same port also doesn’t recognize my livescope transducer
Thank you for the explanation. Can you tell me how to show it in colors only where I recorded with quickdraw..and the rest to be diferent blue as yours or white colors. When I choose a color palette, everything is colored together, where I record and the other complete maps, so I don't know what is real and what is mine from 2-3m distance Thank you
In general, the TI units are faster in response to inputs. This is seen when quickly switching between sonar, downscan, chart, and split screens ru-vid.comUgkxeAxH15LxhjGlg5-CRYqjTGTEH0tbY4vk recommend The Hook units will show some lag on button pushes and screen switching. The big ticket item though is maps. If you install a mapping card such as Navionics or the free C-Map Genesis which has a lot of map detail, then moving around the map with the cursor or when running down the lake can lag significantly on the Hook units, but is seamless with the TI units.
Can you use a hand controller trolling motor for livescope. I have a 14ft jonh boat. What is the best for me 1022livescope .I would like to now more about it Thanks u sir
If you put the microSD card in and it doesn't give you the menu automatically, is there a way to get to the menu through settings? Same unit you are updating in this video. Garmin 1243xsv.
