La camara de motive unicamente graba cuando la troka esta en movimiento Si estas estacionado no graba Ellos te dicen que si y que tiene un sensor de movimiento y no es cierto, lo hacen para venderte Ojo mucho ojo
Just a heads up for ya'll. Keep trucking has rebranded to Motive. They have Road facing and dual facing cameras too. For privacy and stuff everyone prefers road facing only to be safe
I can’t believe how hilarious this is. Ur sitting in a minivan and talking shit on FB posts of Peterbilts for sale. Ur a doorswinger. You had to block me on FB cause I found out ur grift.
Literally in tears, so tired. This effing drift mattress is so uncomfortable, every part of my body hurts and I CANNOT sleep. We are in a borrowed truck, I am laying on the floor now. I would rather try and sleep on a bed of nails. It hard to even come up with adequate words 10/10 would not recommend. I drive team. I've been awake for 30 something hours. If we ever get loaded going straight to Walmart for the $200 foam mattress. If you like sleeping on the equivalent of plywood covered in a piece of fabric then this the one for you. Is there anywhere else to leave a review cuz the people should know. When you sit on the one at the truck stop it's well worn in, probably take a heard of elephants to break this thing in. Can't find anywhere else to actually leave or read a review.
Can I use it without the ELD how much is a plan only to review videos and can I use it for personal use the model dc54 can it be view live on mobile phone?
Getting ready to sell the reefer and buy a newer logistics trailer. These reefer rates suck. I don’t want to be owning this when it needs a new unit. My intention was to run it to 20,000 hours and no more.
Yes. August will be two years with my authority. Been having warranty issues with the truck. Im out of warranty next summer. Working out what I want to do with the truck. In the process of getting a logistic trailer again. Reefer was a great option the last two years. What I did in the past seems to be what I need to do again.
@@starcardave339 Dave, a couple more thoughts (I was busy the other day when I responded). Of course, you have to know your numbers but it might be time to dump that truck. If you are going to lose the warranty, things could get expensive, right quick. I’m a reefer guy and running coast to coast so I keep all new equipment; when I hit the road, I’m out for months. When I see 200,000 on the odometer, I start thinking about dumping it. The little lady shopping with her toddlers is not going to buy brown lettuce and half-rotten strawberries! Even for you though, if you are going to go back to concerts and entertainment, those people are going to want someone whom they can depend on. Yes, new equipment can have problems also but life is about increasing the probabilities to avoid problems. In regard to today’s trucks, anything can happen after 200K and hopefully nothing happens prior to 200K. I've had plenty of problems prior to 200K but those trucks are worth fixing and it's under warranty. I'm not going to sit, broke down, losing revenue, have old equipment, AND, have to write the check for the repairs; I'm not doing that! And, those repairs are probably a disaster; it's very hard to find competent people for repairs. Repair shops have very little to lose; they can file bankruptcy and be gone. A manufacturer (Peterbilt, Kenworth, etc.) has A LOT to lose. The idiots on YT will argue for their junk used equipment but most of them are not dedicated truckers anyway; they’re playing. Most work harder to get home three days per week than doing the actual work. A sure way to lose accounts is to have equipment that is not able to complete the job. Keep in mind, if a person cannot complete the work, there are 1,000 other trucks that CAN complete the work, and, without trouble! Broke down = pissed off shippers, pissed off receivers, and pissed off brokers (if a person uses a broker). The accounts will be gone! Furthermore, if you do go back to concerts, there are far more people involved than just the people that I mentioned. People have purchased tickets also. If a concert would have to be canceled specifically because of junk transport equipment, that concert account is gonnnnnnnnnnnnnne! These equipment decisions are very real issues. I think my next one might be the new Pete 589; that’s the new long-nose Pete but with the wider cab. I have over forty years in this business and we had some of the first Pete 379s, in the early 1980s. The 379s were great trucks; the 389s were great trucks; I’d bet the new 589 is going to be great as well. We are now past the ISX nightmare and I have been seeing and hearing some good stories about the X15; that seems to be a good engine. I’ve been talking to a dealer in Texas; those people are looking for the 589s in 2024. If you go with new again, try to get at least 500K on the engine and 750K on the transmission and rear ends, with no time limit… mileage only! You should be able to get this with zero extra dollars. Then at least the major items are covered. Hammer down! 👍👍👍👍
@@truthseeker5890 I’m on the same wavelength. I’m looking at that same Pete but leaning towards the new Mack. It’s cheaper, probably as reliable. There is an outside chance I’d consider the Western Star 57X. It’s basically a Cascadia with a better looking hood. I don’t like my Freightliner in Knoxville. I may have to get away from Daimler. I’m going to take this one to Pittsburgh power. Under warranty I had the whole fuel system replaced as well as injectors and the DPF. The truck was severely over fueling, and I was able to limp it into freightliner in Ocala Florida. Now the emissions is acting up and I’m sure it’s because of the over fueling. Going to do the diesel force cleaning and start usually the max mileage fuel additive. If the light for the omissions stays out after doing this, through next summer, I would consider holding this truck one additional year past warranty and sell it at around 630,000 miles.
My first choice would be Bridgestone M760 Ecopia. The price is a little high for me. I like this Yokohama. Fuel economy is average, maybe 2 tenths less than the Ecopia. I don’t know how many miles I’ll get. The bridge stones ran 280,000 miles with centramatics and still had 7/32 to go when I pulled them. I got $80 a tire casing credit on those. If I could get those bridge stones for $420 a tire I would choose those over the Yokohama’s. The Yokohama’s are a solid second choice. I run a Yokohama solid shoulder steer tire I love that tire. I also run Yokohama trailer tires and they seem to be wearing well.
For someone who just said you didn’t move truck for 7 days you have some nerve. I’ve been here for 6 months and I haven’t stopped. And no i didn’t follow that coach guy. Maybe I’ve been blessed to continue to run without stopping.
@@starcardave339 actually 16 years and only 1 warning ticket in Iowa for going a whole 5 miles over limit. Try again. I guess I’m a dope with a whole lot of work and not a dope with a whole lot of downtime
@@AlexM.. then why go work for a shady Chicago outfit that transplanted to Missouri? Their standards are very low and most of those drivers you work with can’t drive. Their trailers are junk. Being a real owner operator with your own authority is not easy. But…. I took 3 months off because… I can! I don’t have to grind when I don’t want to. 💯
Hi Dave you were right. The clowns have left Artur. The biggest clown is Jason dumb fu k poat. Just checking to see if you you had anything new on. Take care.
You were right Having a license and business structure Setup in another state is not a barrier or legal issue, what else is the purpose of BOC-3 requirement? #Delaware Stuatory#
It’s a battle. I’m not running big revenue. Taking more time off. Doing maybe $2.80 all miles with the reefer. Watching all the RU-vid truckers pack it in. Looks like it’s just the beginning of a deep slide downwards. I thought it would only take a few months to shake out the extra capacity.
Saw you at Knoxville T/A yesterday (11-29-2022), Dave. I was rolling out after an oil change and fuel filters. Saw you backed in; looked like the shades were closed up tight; didn’t want to risk waking you. 👍👍👍
I think you'd save a lot of time, and more effective doing the mock up yourself. Ie; "I'm going to say this", and "He/she is going to come back with this..." A real mock up is fine at a paid seminar where you have to stretch it out to justify the cost. This forum here, you have a smart audience, who will grasp the concept rather quickly without getting way off into the weeds. " $2200 ???, No? are you serious!? "Someone is going to snatch that up." "Okay then, let them have it, they need it more than I do,.. Goodbye". (A short time later, call back) "Okay, what do you need for this load?" "I need $2800". "Okay it's yours." Layout all the potential scenarios.
Just look at those fools now they leaving Arthur in hurry nobody should take trucker coach seriously just look his record in last 3 years he been at 12 different companies he's clueless.
@@starcardave339 yes couch and Cooper r leaving I guess Arthur made some changes to their contacts the word is hey might be coming to Super Ego Express.
It’s not about a lease, it’s about the bigger picture, can the government tell you, you now have to work for a union/companies, no if’s or but’s about it, you ok with that?! That’s the bigger picture
The bigger picture is…. Are you truly working for yourself when you have no control over rates, insurance, customers? The government is not telling anyone they have to work for a union. They are saying Share Crop Trucking is no longer acceptable. I’m ok with this. Those lease operators mostly run garbage poorly maintained equipment. They don’t get enough of the pie to run a profitable and safe business in a lot of cases. It’s not difficult to get an authority. As a matter of fact, I believe it has gotten so easy that too many really dumb people have done so. They now have to use dispatch companies and other 3rd party companies to hold their hand while they try to run a business. The future looks grim. The Uber car model is where trucking is headed. “Here is the rate. Sign this contract with no edits. No detention. No truck ordered not used. Take it or leave it.” People are already accepting to do business like this.
Oh my god another trucker that doesn’t know what AB5 is really about, dude if you stop looking at 1099, look at what the government is trying to do! Pretty soon government is going to tell you, you are to fat to be a trucker, can the government labeled you?!
It has nothing to do with DRIVING in California. If you live there or the carrier is based there, then they are governed by this new rule. Driving in other parts of the country wont keep them out of trouble. The enforcement will be done via a tax audit.
You are assuming people are paying taxes AND reporting correctly. If they move their carrier out of state, and their California Licensed contractors don’t report taxes, then what? I think enforcement hasn’t been thought out, and when it is, at some level, maybe cursory, it might happen at California scales.
@@starcardave339 it's a tax issue. The contractor vs employee status revolves around the taxation method. That is the whole point! If they are w-2 employees then the carrier's are supposed to be withholding taxes and submitting it on their behalf. That is how the enforcement will impact them. I'm already aware of a 120 truck carrier that is being audited for this. She was neck deep in the audit in 2020 and this stay order delayed it. Now she has several tax attorney's trying to help her sort it out. What's worse, the fines are retroactive going back to 2020 so the stay order granted by the court was not an extension. People had hoped that it would get thrown out and therefore didn't change the way they were doing things, now they'll be fined heavily. The drivers that have been on 1099 are not the one's that have to worry. It's the carrier's that face penalties.
@@YouDriveUSuccess I understand what you are saying. The majority of carriers are less than 20 trucks. How easy is it to move a carrier out of state? Will California chase every carrier that leaves the state to verify their drivers don’t live in CA? Is it possible CA carriers don’t care and are still running anyway? There will be some audits. There has to be. FMCSA can’t stop chameleon carriers. Will CA will be able to shut down all the carriers that flout this new tax law? Heck, carriers ran without ELDs for months after the mandate. Just sayin’.
