Any insight if Dior will be restocking the eyeshadow quads? They still show a waiting list; I missed out on the first run.

Hi Jen, just wanted to let you know that I tried Valentino's Matte Lipsticks that I ordered from Selfridge's last Christmas/New Year Sale. I was very surprised at how emolient these were on me and even wore one a few days ago when going out. They don't show a flat matte appearance and glide on effortlessly. I never thought that I could wear mattes, yet with technology advancing, I'm finding that I can wear many matte and velvet lipsticks now that I couldn't previously. I'm NOT inciting you to buy, just passing on information - that's all. I'm curious about the Chanel Quads as they appear all matte. Are you aware of what formula these are? This release does match up with the last one, especially the colours of the eye-liners that go perfectly with the Quads. The pale mauve 'Blush' looks a bit strange and would think it would make many, especially myself, look as if 'passed on'. I agree, Chanel has upped their game and reached out to colour. I was so surprised by this that it was why I bought all four of the Byzance Quads due to them being something we normally don't see from Chanel. The formula from these was very impressing and I was able to wear those brighter shades from Baroque as 'one & done's'. I tried the orange eye-liner from the recent release the other day and it lasted very well, only the Nuage Bleu plus the Leaf Green to go. I still have my eye on the frosted mauve and light pink but I'm afraid that medical bills come first. It's not as bright as it may first appear, but I didn't go in heavy handed and only applied it under the lower lashes. I'm getting lots of wear from the two Baume Essentials also. I've actually bought more from Chanel since last year than I have from Dior. Givenchy has me firmly in it's grasp now after trying one of their Eye Palettes a number of years back and loved the formula. Their lipsticks are exceptional too, as is the new Black Mascara. Everything that I've tried from them has impressed me greatly. They usually have a 'pop of colour' in their Eye Palettes, but had to leave it out of the last neutral one. The shadows are never as they appear in photos. It's not until you swatch them that the hidden twist to the shade shows itself. I definitely like the palette you showed and looking forward to this one and not just for the blue. I love that burnt orange shade and the brown beneath it looks interesting. I'm thinking that the centre shade may have a hint of blue to it and due to there being only one matte shade, the others are sure to have hidden delights. The cases on those lipsticks look amazing and I may end up with both or at least the one on the right. I've never used their powdered products before, although the Rose Gold Highlight is very tempting. Do you know if those Givenchy Satin Lipsticks are going to be a regular line or L/ E? I've been re-arranging my make-up yet again and just stored it away when listening to your video. There definitely does come a point where we have to put the brakes on and use up what we have. I went through my phase of trying out other brands and know what I will purchase first before anything else. My Guerlain Aura Glow finally arrived yesterday from the US. Despite being available here, it was considerably cheaper to purchase from you! It's a crazy industry. I'm really going to look forward to you trying out the Pucci x Guerlain Eye Quad! I do love the shade of the lipstick but I'm not that invested in having to get it. I already have so many spectacular looking palettes and lipsticks etc. that I don't need it all. If I spy the Eye Quad or Lipstick reduced down the line sometime, only then will I consider buying. I've finished collecting all of Pat McGrath's Motherships and most of the palettes from Natasha Denona I wanted. I haven't been able to get my hands on her Green-Brown, Safari or Star Palettes, yet will keep an eye out. If you know of anyone who missed out on the Burberry Runway Eye Palette, it's available here along with the limited Face Palette with four eye shades, blush plus highlighter, the Cushion Foundation and the matching Pearl Satin Lipsticks for only AUD$270.00 for the lot! No-one purchased at auction which really surprised me. If you know of anyone curious, it's on eBay. I already have all the items except for one of the lipsticks. It's completely untouched and was given to someone to photograph. As I always state, never feel obliged to purchase anything on my behalf. Being similar ages, I know what I want by now and don't need anyone to test something first. If you won't be wearing or wanting a product, it's only worth it if you recieve enough requests to make it financially viable or else its purely a waste. Sorry about waffling on for so long. I’ve been researching new luggage for myself nonstop for 3 days. I FINALLY decided what I wanted/needed & told my husband about it. I have 5 children! My husband & I only have 1 daughter together that’s 5. She loves to be with me & her sisters, all things makeup, eating out, shopping etc… Me & my 25 year old daughter decided that we think she’s old enough to start going on mother/big sister getaways now. My husband is a homebody & I guess he felt left out…who the h*ll knows. He asked me to buy him the luggage that I was buying for myself in black for him for his birthday. 😮 I bit the bullet & ordered everything. I got so stressed, that I could feel a migraine coming on, bc I had not planned on buying him luggage. I had planned on purchasing the Pucci/Guerlain collab bronzer. I opened up RU-vid & Sofia Sees Beauty had it posted on my newsfeed that it’s available at Saks. I immediately went to their website & purchased it. I am Italian American, 2nd generation born in the U.S. & my husband is French. I wanted this bronzer for me, but I also wanted it for our daughter. She loves to swatch makeup. She knows all about luxury beauty. She loves babies and loves to watch them being taken care of & taking care of her own baby dolls. I’m hoping she’ll be a doctor of some sort w/babies so she can afford this stuff. I’ve been laying here DYING, thinking why did I just drop all that money on luggage and then turn around & purchase that bronzer in one night?!!! I’m a SAHM! Jennifer, thank u for making me feel better bc I was feeling irresponsible for just hitting add to cart without even watching anything but pics of the collection. The bronzer was like $115 & they charged shipping! Everyone in Sofia’s comments were like, “No, No, ridiculous prices etc…” My oldest daughter is getting married this Friday. School just started. My 5 year old won’t stop growing. The holidays r coming & I need new bath towels. Obviously, money is going to be really tight now. I passed on the Chantecaille release & I really did want it, even though I didn’t need it. I will say, the prices on everything is outrageous & now the websites r saying that they’re going to start charging u to return items. I saw that on the Saks website this evening. Enjoyed the chat video! 🌷💄☕️ I'm hoping to get Tom Ford's First Blush, the new red creme blush. I think red blush is the best neutral for colored eyeshadows like the new Chanel quad coming out. One just can't wear peach or pink with some of these new eye colors, red is the best neutral. And maybe the new satin matte lip shades. Love that new creme blush formula, the Cafe' blush is so nice. But it is red packaging for China's valentine's so who knows if we will get it? 🤷🏻‍♀️

Hi Jen, I am interested in Tom Ford Holiday eyeshadow quad. I saw the new Chanel blushes in store. They are nice but heavily fragranced. I mean VERY strong smell. For this reason I would not buy any of them. But if you are ok with that you will like them. I am waiting for Hermes fall collection and their new permanent eyeliners. Also I am interested in Chanel Holiday collection (I saw an eyeshadow quad but maybe will be more). All other collections are an easy pass for me. Thanks for sharing!🙂

I’m most interested in the Tom Ford releases. I would have to say I like the color stories. As far as Chanel goes, I’ll probably skip that this time around. The YSL holiday palette looks beautiful, and I might be tempted to get it. Time will tell. It will be interesting to see what else comes out for the holidays.

I'm too miffed to buy Guerlain anything for now. The palette color story to me looks like Marni not at all Pucci. If it was actually Marni I might have gotten it 😂very interested in the TF releases... The updated lipsticks, glosses and quads. And very curious about Dior and Chanel holiday. I use to adore the Tom Ford Soleil Neige Collections, and ill have to wait for more pictures but it feels really lackluster. I wish they had two different quads. I’m sure that Tom Ford wasn’t extra hands on but I’m feeling like it’s slipping a bit since his departure. That isn’t to say that I haven’t loved some of the new releases. I like the Chanel fall for giving something new, but I don’t understand why the quads are all matte. It is giving a bit of Halloween vibes. That all being said the purple quad speaks to me and I’ll probably pick it up.

I am interested in the Dior lipstick that has been featured with the blue eye palette. I recently tried Sweed beauty lipstick. I am impressed and want to see what they do for fall. I am also holding out to see if Byredo puts out a large palette. I also recently purchased Chantacaille. I like their shadow, but LOVE their eye liner. I think the TF looks great, but I am not purchasing.

I’m 52 and I love JRB but I don’t like heavy cakey makeup so that being said I do lightly powder my t-zone and it works great

Definitely interested in the TF holiday quad and the gloss luxes (love the gloss luxes). Not too sure about the Metallic Mauve since I have Violet Satine. I know they’re not complete dupes from comparisons I’ve seen on IG, but could be close enough to save me from FOMO. lol (I just got the Suqqu Fall ‘24 quad in the purple/berry color combo, so do I really “need” yet another quad in the same color family? Ha!)

Thank you for the video, I enjoy watching your eyeshadow application. I wonder how similar in color the new Chanel berry blush would look used as eyeshadow. What does "remastered" mean in terms of brushes? I bought the new Danessa Myrick's brush, it still has that plasticky look to the bristles, I'm eager to see if it softens/blooms more.

Hi Jen. I haven't bought any Dior eye-shadows, except for a few Backstage Palettes, since the reformulations. The pigment has appeared to have disappeared and the Quints just aren't exciting me like they used to. Although, not orginal, I do like the colour stories of these newly released Quints, although not released here yet. If I'm going to purchase an eye palette, I expect it to be of the best formulation/pigmentation available, especially at the exorbitant prices we pay for Dior Quints in Australia. They still appear to apply rather light on the lid and all I get from this palette is a wash of frosty palest pink with a tad of blended plum. Nothing special to speak of at all. As I'm a very far distance from being able to test Dior, I was curious as to how you would compare these current Quints with the old formula. Are they half of the quality, less or more? I don't need any more shadows, especially with the exceptional shadows I already own, yet I was curious to know where these newer ones stand. Did I tell you about the new Dior lip liner shades ?!!! Omg they are so perfect for me … my favorite beige shades ever!!!! greige attitude and beige tulle and I got the map case with 100 nude look and 527 atelier to go in them!!! Love love love best haul!!!!! I’ve got mixed reviews on the stick foundation maybe I just put on too much plus I’m inbetween 0 and 1 it’s plumping and smoothing but kinda thick idk gotta use more 🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍 the contour stick looks nice is it the same consistency as the foundation

I think your colour match is good with 0n. I struggled to choose too because it's just online, I haven't checked instore if it's available at sephora. I ordered 0n and 00 because I am fair and didn't know which one would suit me better. I am still waiting for it to arrive in the mail. I came across your channel looking for swatches of this foundation, so this was helpful for sure!

I think you could use the 1N in the Dior foundation stick, but the 0N is lovely looking on your face. It really does blend nicely into your skin. Personally, I’ve found cream foundation in the past looked mask like on my face, but it was too light. With winter on the way, your skin will be lightening up anyway, so it will just look even better. The blush/highlighter is very pretty, but I really don’t need any more at this time. The contour/highlighter duo and contour stick are another story. I really don’t have anything like them, and I wouldn’t mind adding some dimension to my face. I’m also glad to see cooler tones.
