I must admit that I bought the Nature takeaway…but only after the salesperson showed me how to use that eyeliner as a lip stain and blush. They are really lovely if used that way…bc it would look nutty on me as an eyeliner! You, on the other hand, make just about anything work! Thanks for the video!

I think the Chanel products are genius, the green especially. F-em for making that green exclusive, whatever. 😂😂 But the color stories evoke 60s euro-pop colors, or maybe 80s too. And the brown lipstick, oh I'm a 90s sucker for brown too, it needs updating with eye colors, are these the colors to do it? I am not sure. But I think it all looks fabulous on you! Am I crazy? Hi Jennifer! Thank you for investing in and demoing the new Prada pressed powder and both Chanel Takeaway kits. The powder was quite effective at reducing redness - I would buy it but Prada is not available in Canada. As far as the Chanel kits are concerned, I apologize in advance if this is offensive but I am compelled to share my personal opinion that Chanel did a declutter and selected products that were over-stocked. Furthermore, there is a negative environmental impact to manufacturing a vinyl non-recyclable mini lunch-bag bearing the Chanel logo. Thanks again !
This unfortunately is a "no-go" for me. However, I applaud Chanel for going outside their typical lines. Thank you for demoeing (sp?) the sets and the Prada powder. Love your content and have been watching you for years😊❤
Hi Jen, Everything is a hard pass for me but I like watching your videos.🙂 This collection has a cheap Halloween vibe, same as the fall limited edition eyeshadow quads.I think the new creative directors should go to an indie brand because they have no idea what classy and timeless means and they put Chanel in a very wrong direction. Who is the target audience for this collections? Maybe their friends.😂 I have a mild rosacea but I am not tempted to put a green powder on my face. My Sisley powder is close to my skin tone and is very effective for my redness. Thanks for sharing!🙂
These sets don’t appeal to me at all but thanks for showing me what I’m missing. My budget is very tight right now (I’m in school) so I only buy what I know I’ll use. These collections are fun but not for every day use, at least for me.
I ordered both of the Chanel takeaways, but I don’t receive them til tomorrow, and after your review I may return the tenue one. I don’t know about that deep brown one! I’m excited they’re trying something different, and LE shades of beloved formulas is pretty safe way to make us happy.
I picked up the Nature Getaway, to be delivered tomorrow, I think the bag could be cute to throw in a tote, wish they had stitched some loops on the side so chain could be added for a cute mini crossbody(?). But am excited to receive and play! I seem to be sucker for their summer releases , as I purchased the brush set and mirrored compact last summer-use and love both ,although overpriced . The Chanel sets are giving the vibe that Chanel’s sales were down the last 2-3 quarters and the sets were an attempt at Chanel making up for it. A poor attempt at that. Imo 🤷🏻♀️
I have the same problem with the Baume Essential. It doesn’t set down for me. Yuck! These both were an easy pass for me. The green powder from Prada is interesting. I had a green powder from Dior years ago. It too helped with redness. Thanks for showing these.😊
Not sure why people really think this set gives a Halloween look. You’d obviously not wear all products at the same time at full saturation, as this set is the more creative of the two and meant to be accents individually. Additionally, all colors are on trend.
Too much orange in these kits. Let's give up the orange-coral color story now. What the heck is Chanel thinking? And did you see the fall eyeshadow quads? Not classy, not autumn like in the least.
