I love to cook with many of herbs and spices. The tiny spice shelf frustrated me so much that I had a custom spice cabinet built. We are a single income family, so it was an investment. I could not find any premade that fit our needs. Let me tell you it's some of the best $$ I ever spent. It makes cooking a relaxing fun experience.
I am also an speaker at the Get Organized HQ event this year and wanted to send some love to your video. I also love your advice about having items things that bring you joy on your countertop.
I use the spices in their original containers too. It is costly and time consuming to empty the jar to another jar just to look pretty. 🥰😁 Thanks for sharing your kitchen! God bless you and yours.
Other than having salt and pepper next to my range, I have a spice shelf built on my pantry door. I organize alphabetically. I also had a blank wall in the pantry and it has what I call a can shelf. So there are 6 wide shelves deep enough to hold cans and other items that fit.
Making them. They’re in the oven for overnight. I’ll let you know if mine come out as well as yours did. Thanks Mary Katherine ! UPDATE: My husband and I had some this morning. He LOVES them. I thought they’re very good too. We will definitely have them again.
I made your recipe for Banana Bread today! It's delicious. It's a first for me to use cream cheese. I used less fat cream cheese. I also reduced the sugar to 1 2/3 cups (from 2 cups). I also only had 3 bananas and used walnuts. My recipe made a large loaf and 4 large muffins. Thanks for your recipe and instructions! Next time I do this recipe, I will use 4 bananas, reduce sugar to 1 1/2 cups, and use full fat cream cheese!
We are about to come out with our website and will have recipes posted there! We hope to have this done within the next week or so! Thanks for watching.
Looks delicious!!! We always love to try new dishes and we'll have to try this one out. We love fresh vegetables! Thank you for your videos! I really enjoy them!!😊
This reminds me so much of a recipe my aunt Rita used to make called “Christmas Morning Bread” except instead of the vanilla pudding, it used butterscotch. I guess the idea was to make it the night before Christmas so on “Christmas morning” you would have a delicious treat with minimal effort. It kind of became a tradition in our family and I still make it every Christmas in memory of Aunt Rita. ❤
The nicest, juiciest, reddest, heirloom tomato I've seen in a while. I'm sure the flavour is insane. Hey ya'll on here dissing this-- sometimes, LESS is best! Mmmm.
I love watching food videos from other countries etc- I’ve NEVER seen any one peel a tomato like that!?🤷♀️ I’m neutral about the use of Mayo. I’ve had tomato sandwiches with Mayo or just butter and I like them both ways- I guess it just depends what I’m in the mood for!? Definitely salt and pepper though!
It is so interesting to see what people in other parts of the world do with food, isn't it?! I love that too. This is the typical way we eat it here in Alabama, USA!
Why would you waste that skin? The only part of a tomato that should not be used is the core. I prefer mine on toast and I don't put pepper on it. I also don't limit myself to one slice. My bread needs to be covered.
Peeling the skin is just a preference. That tomato was large & my slice was think and big enough for the sandwich! I got tomato in every single bite. Yum!
