The City had an interesting concept, just not well executed. It was like if Melrose Place and The Real World Season 1 had a kid and that kid married a soap opera.

Ahh the Georgie Phillips story! I remember like it was yesterday. Before i became an avid OL watcher in 2005, i remember watching Todd locking everyone in a place to confess who really killed her since they accused him. And u think this was a special primetime episode! But after that storyline ended i went back to watching AMC only.
Tracy Melchior was woefully miscast to begin with, but the whole Kelly reinvented as a Desperate Housewife was cringe-worthy. Heather Tom made it more tolerable because she's just plain interesting to watch, though it was still like watching a different character.
