Full episode of The City from my personal VHS archive. This aired on Friday, November 22, 1996.
In this episode, Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) stages a situation to gain Gino Soleito's (Joseph Sirola) sympathy and it backfires. Carla (Amy Van Horne) pretends to be okay with Tony's (George Palermo) plan to propose to Ally (Laura Wright) on her birthday, but she and Danny (Ted King) spoil the moment by surprising Ally with a visit from Tyler (Michael Deutchman). Jocelyn (Lisa LoCicero) worries that Alex and Ava may be rekindling their relationship.

Interesting that Laura Wright, Lisa Lo Cicero and Jane Elliott are all still working together 28 years later on another show, General Hospital.

Thanks for the upload 👍!! I love Jane Elliott as Tracy Quartermaine .Even though Jane's appearance did very little to keep the show afloat.. Ever serving as a executive producer for the show. At least they didn't make Tracy the Happy face killer like Gwen Alden . XD

You didn't like the HFK story? I thought it was one of the best things I've seen on soaps. Yeah some of the ways they killed off thwart characters was at times hokey (namely Jeremy hunter death) but the build up to her reveal was super. Her final performance was incredible, so much so that had she given it on GH or any of the more widely viewed shows, I bet she would have won an Emmy

Jane Elliot was never a producer for _The City_ ... it was _Loving_ where she was a producer.

I liked this show . It's just the opening theme that I wasn't feeling to bad the idiots over at ABC didn't give them a chance to change it. All because they didn't want to give this soap another chance. All because they wanted to wipe out its line up just so they can keep there. Precious pro rape ( Luke and Laura) and pro gun violence. ( sonny and Jason) general hospital it's called favoritism and it's stupid that that trash gets a billion chances. While there other soaps. Barley got any. Now they want to have the entire town mourn the lost of a very violent rapist who also ran over a child ( luke) really even the city had better stories. As well as it's mother soap. Loving . Daytime sucks right now .
