Guys, I will admit these shots look impressive, but don't stand there! The pilot needs to make one small mistake or something falls off these aircraft and you might never be able to walk again or something like this. So, please, please, please, don't do that!
Im sorry but what utter Hogwash! How do you expect a plane to land unless it's drops altitude when approaching a run-way. These jets are not, way-too-low. Indeed, they're actually exactly the line of descent on approach they should be. The people standing there are way-too-close. Your purposely placing yourselves below the flight line...
Not 'insane way too low' in any repsect. I've driven that directly behind Coningsby many times (almost a 2 mile straight going theough New York and Boston if anyone wants to check). They have railway style 'wig-wag' signs to stop traffic when planes are coming in. If you choose to be there, then thats on you
massive security risk here ,how easy would it be to hit the plane with a toy drone or rocket the raf are a sleep ,some idiot will take down a plane if you can get this close
I was at Coningsby 88-90…best feeling ever was being sat in my little mini metro at the threshold with the Tornado F3s taking off or landing. The resonance though the car was immense! Will never forget that feeling.
Its the spotters that are way too close not the aircraft. Stupid comment way too low. How the fcuk is it meant to land. Its these dicks that will get carpark closed due to warnings from base. Respect them.
Practice carrier landings using hot ladies as the meatball ,call the ball ,wow she's cute the brunette. She's beaming. 😛🥰eject and get her number. Roger
I'd simply 💓💕💓💕💓💕💓💕 that any aircraft flying that low to land 😁😁😁😁👍👍👏👏👏👏👏😉 But, since the back road to my local airport has been closed down for quite sometime i sadly won't get that chance ever again to get close to it. Besides it is a passenger airport not military.
That many aircraft all at once probably indicates they have just returned from deployment on the carrier (HMS QUEEN ELIZABETH?). The Air Wing departs the ship while they are way out at sea before returning to port. It is not practical to try to take off from a stationary deck as the head wind would be in the wrong direction and inadequate and there is the danger of trying to do it in a port setting. That also applies to the helicopters!! I used to do the wind calculations for launching and recovering the Lynx on HMS Minerva.
Wow that's awesome, how many was there, 12 - 14... Seen similar at Lossiemouth when I was working on their TFST project. But not as many as that. Seen alot of performance take offs. Does the pilot see all these folk hanging around I wonder??
I've loved planes since I was a kid.......and I also get the buzz from seeing low flying....... But..... What happens if one of these planes suffered a malfunction on approach (or takeoff).....those directly under the flightpath could, could possibly be injured or killed ?. By all means enjoy plane spotting.......but please please please think about safety first too.
