nah you complicated yourself her, rise the edges up to the top of the curves and bevel the two points instead of subdividing, it will give you a much better shape
Been using blender 4.1 since i realized keyshot for animation was way too limited compared to what i wanted to achieve, I've picked up blender for about 6 months and have made amazing product animations that i never thought were possible especially for a student. I plan to continue to use bender for as long as i can see, i know it will keep improving. Blender 4.2 has been incredible cutting down my render times 10x because of eevee next. If there is any industrial design students, dont doubt picking up blender. You can keep modelling in other softwares ( for example i only model in fusion 360) and import to blender to render and make animations. I promise you will be 1000s of steps ahead of your competition!
