Thank you. So many videos selling coil testers, and acting like they doing me a favor by telling me to replace the ignition coil. This was the first video I found where someone took the time to dismantle clean and reassemble. I'm going to go do my ignition coils now. I know it's 5 years old but I hope you're still doing these.
@doitmyself6377, are you using 2 SCCs to feed a single battery ? also is your other video "SRNE ML4860 Update - Needed to be reset to maximize charging current" the solution you used to fix this ?
How are these charge controllers doing? Since the video is 2 years old I was curious if they still work well, if they have ever broken down or had any anomalies Thanks
If the coil is this dirty, it’s time to toss them and put new ones in, a coil is more than clean contacts and connectors. The winding inside will wear .. Over time, the constant exposure to electrical currents and the associated heat can cause the windings to degrade. This degradation can result in increased electrical resistance, reduced performance, and eventual coil failure.
sir do you experience the vibration only when engine was started cold like the first drive of the day? I don't have vibrations if I start the engine warm like when I drive it again after 1 hour from previous drive.
No. You might want to check and clean plugs. Sometimes plugs have carbon on tip or worse oil depending on your piston seal condition. Wet by gasoline if you have leaky injectors
Lead acid 65ah 12 volts.
@@acevergelcatig1687 masisira boss ang battery mo. Ang rule of thumb ko sa lead acid eh 0.5C lang. Meaning kung 65Ah, 32.5A lang max load. At 12V that is only 390watts. Considering pa ang losses, mas mababa pa dapat max load mo dyan. Tapos 1500 watts na inverter iiyak nga yan.
Mini Winter Solar Tipp: You can gradually turn down a Beuler and all other hungry electricity consumers with the "5000W dimmer". Ebay €7. I run 5 dimmers in parallel on an 850W inverter. Kettle 2.2KW at 150W runs 12 hours a day, so the water is always hot. The room is also nicely heated. 2.5KW washing machine runs in parallel with dimmed to 200...400W. Iron, dishwasher, oven, electric heater, coffee machine, all internal heating are throttled with me. Videos about it on my channel ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-eC2olbCBhh0.html The inverter stays cool, quiet and the MOSFETs remain intact because extreme current peaks no longer arrive at the inverter. Now every Mini PV Inverter is enough to sell large devices. So, with the dimmer, all internal heaters/devices can be converted into base load devices that stay almost permanently ON, drawing very little current directly from the PV. You can measure this with a wattmeter / energy cost meter.
Hi, the chargers are connected? I mean there is a cable to stablish a communication between both controllers, like master and slave mode. Just to know if even with this connection you still have the issue.
Yes. The comm cable was connected. The reset issue was caused by the unit. Since the replacement with newer firmware, I never saw any of the 2 to reset.
@@wellnesspathforme6236 I can't remember the firmware. May be on the other video. Yes upgrade is possible but not available to the user. I'll post here when I see what version my current units are using.
@@doitmyself6377 Would you recommend this for a starter offgrid system at a sub $200 price? Only one charge controller is intended, and this would be it.
If you're planning on replacing them anyway, you could try clean them first. But consider availability of parts first in case you totally break it. I would try problem isolation first specially if the coils are identical. And if it points to the coil, it's worth the risk trying to clean it because regardless if you break it or not, you're gonna have to replace it.
very helpful! I started doing this about 6 years ago when I was quoted AU$2000 to replace them all. I have done the process about every 10 months, but have finally had to buy some, I found a deal on eBay for $134 for the eight [fingers crossed hoping they will be legitimate]
@@silentjellybean I think it's the same as the ones being sold locally. From the reviews, the product looks OK. And what you got may be from the same supplier
@@doitmyself6377 So the Eight coils arrived, I fitted new spark plugs and the new coils, Totally fixed to running/misfiring issue. The engine check light even turned itself off, I didn't have to use the OBDII scanner reset lol.
