Hi, you are great! I love listening your voice over, lovely accent! Just one little thing to correct, if you allow me: the moustache of the cat is called whiskers. This is Panselinos not Astrapas. Astrapas and Panselinos are differnet persons. See Astrapas paintings in Orchida. There is nothing in common with Protato's masterpieces. For more information see the study of Sergiadis where he proves this distinction. Beyond this your job and the tutorial are great.

My teacher had me study Byzantine icons from the 12th to 16th century, classical Greek art, and Fayoum portraits. As an iconographer, I always suggest starting by drawing. Antonis' course is very good.

This is paint by numbers painting. He also is using a small brush from the beginning. This is terrible. He is filling tiny spaces with different colors and later smoothing them into each other. It is stiff and dull. Not recommended.
I have noticed something that many accomplished painters do, same as you here: if they see a bit of green or blue in skin tones, they put these colors fairly strongly at first and blend them into more conventional skin tones. I have never really mastered this, but I will try again.

I am a Roman Catholic, but recently, I found out about icons. I really like iconography, and I've been trying to paint icons and struggled with it. These videos really helped me A LOT. thank you.
Why not say your colors used and then say we don’t have to use your pallet of choice? Just don’t speak then. I’m truly saying this with respect. It’s great work but if you’re wanting to have followers then think as an instructor not as a student. Believe in your ability to teach before you teach. Just saying.
