Buck, YOU are a national treasure and one of the truest artists to have ever graced this plane of existence. It is my sincerest hope that you make music til the end of time, and are rewarded beyond your wildest dreams. You have influenced so many that it is impossible to fathom the enormity of what you have done to change the scope of this reality forever. You are Dr. Music! (and we need a doctor in these challenging times). Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. I canonly hope that you feel the love from all of us raining down and washing over every fiber of your being, and that is still not enough. More! More! More!
You saying ‘Wuhan Virus’ is akin to Donald Trump recently saying in the presidential debate that Haitian people are eating dogs and cats. It is not only irresponsible and underscores a lack of character, but more importantly, it causes hatred and violence towards innocent people. You, Donald Roeser, are in many ways a broken person who should still know better. I once had respect for you but now I have none and rightly so.
What the song implies to me, is that The True Reality of "On Tour Forever " is reaching the end. Just saw BOC at the NY State Fair. Praying its not the last. We Love you guys! BOC FOREVER !
Glad Buck decided to ignore the producer pleas of "I need more cowbell !", the song is fantastic. It needs to be put out as part of a new BOC album. There are plenty of Geranios demos, live tracks etc that can constitute a new release, i.e., "Ghost Stories II, Are We Scared Yet", c'mon already.
I've been a fan since the beginning, Buck. So glad you wrote the music you wrote, and played with such intellectual lines and wonderful style. Still at it, I see, and I am grateful you are part of this project. Cheers!
Isn't Donald sumthin' folks?...one the most underated guitarist, singer and songwriters of our time! From when i first bought B.O.C.'s first album i was hooked! What a Band! 1ST, TYRANNY AND MUTATION and SECRET TREATIES have got to be the best 3 album start ups ever! Bucks first solo album "FLAT OUT" is phenomenal! Rock on Donald Roeser, Rock on! (p.s. rest in peace ALLEN LANIER)
My first R&R T-Shirt was a BÖC shirt I bought with own money when I was just 12. I’ve been a fan ever since and Buck is in my top five guitar heroes. Flat Out is played quite a bit to this day.
Thank you Bucj Thank you Buck..aka Donald. Beautiful song and video montage. I've been on the BOC train since 1975. Man...a lot of people have have been in the band. Will allways revere the classic lineup but have a place in my heart for all the others that have come and gone and are here in the current "2 Oyster Cult" edition. As an old guy certainly get it as I/we lose friends over the years and live goes on. Funny but I get the same vibe from this tune as I do from Peter Gabriel's recent tune "Playing For Time". The wonder of a life that is on back nine for most of us and drawing closer to conclusion. I feel blessed in my own life with many so many things....and also to have been alive and able to experience such an amazing era of music. Now I'll have to try and ID everyone in the video LOL.
Wow! This is nice! This is only good music video anyone in the BOC family has ever put out. Buck, can you explain why BOC music videos are so bad? Did the band have any say in them?
Thanks. I dunno, we hired pros in the Columbia days, and the recent ones are homegrown, but "End" is the first and only video I have done myself so far. Complete credits endofeverysong.com.
A friend of mine sent me this because he knows I like BOC. We're both old boys now who listen to all kinds of music and can naturally relate to this song (I was born in 59, he was 62 I believe).
