Roughly $3200, but as you have mentioned it has a family connection $2400 to $2700. I’m in NJ so price may be a little higher. I’ve had the pleasure of working with a great well company for 18 years and not had any complaints! Plus the lead tech Scott is brilliant, knowledgeable and gust a well rounded person! (Pun intended) 😉 Nice save good job!
I have a question about the fact these are sealed. Asside from the presure side of the equasion (wich could be midegated safely with the right kind of joint) Why arent these servicible components. i mean (stripped description) internaly there a bladder or diaphram with air on one end. Wouldnt a tank with a presure release split ring or a seal by presure accsess door allow for replacement of the bladder. without the whole tink.
How did no one notice the electric wires were wrong on the switch?double power left side double negative right..this guy has positive negative positive negative lmao!!?? thats why its melting bro !!
I noticed the house on the lot just wondering if it’s a new structure?. worked on rig and had a lot of dry wells. Should be the first thing you should do is make shore you have water. Had condominium complexes all but completed except for no water just a dry area millions multi dollars down the drain. And then tried to collect for those dry holes when they went bankrupt good luck. There is no guarantee of water that’s why you get paid by the hole footage. You want to hit water because you get paid easier. It’s a dry hole. The owner is still on the hook for the money.
Great information. My pump just went out and I watched this and came to the conclusion, I’m gonna hire someone to do it because I don’t trust myself doing this without screwing up. Thank you for all the information
In my teen's I helped take care of a cemetery. When we needed to locate the old graves we used them. The problem that we had was that the cemetery was old and not every grave was known about or marked. That would be because the wood cross or pile of rocks was long gone before there was records of the plots that were taken. So every time before digging a new grave we had to mark out the plot. This was to make sure that it was available. When we would walk the rodes would start to move back towards your arm slowly as if by magic. I don't remember them crossing but maybe I don't remember right. All that I know is once we did find an old unmarked grave. The rodes saved a lot of the digging and hitting old cloth or wooden caskets. All that I do know is that there is one grave that is on our family lot that is not marked and is now marked as unknown in the record. As a family we decided to record it that way so the grave had a space and didn't get dug up. The sad thing is that one family had the same thing happen on there lot. They went through everything and had the hole dug and had to get a different plot. They didn't believe the sticks and at five to six feet to wood box was found. The only good thing is that the hole was filled in and the grave is now marked. Unknown verified unmarked grave on record. Just because you don't understand something doesn't mean that it doesn't work. I know that because of that. The person who digs the graves. Just tells people that they will not dig if they think that there is a grave in the plot already. Because it's a small town now people are not able to find someone else to dig when he refuses to do it. I just wish that people would understand that the land has been used as a cemetery for over 200 years. That is how the family plots came to be. When the first person in the family was buried they would take bricks or stones and make a square so that there was space for everyone else to be next to them. The cool thing is that some of the bricks are still there marking the lot. Up until the 1970's the family was in charge of their own lots and needed to take care of them. Some family's didn't keep a written record so there are unmarked graves. Wood only last for 100-150 years as a grave marker. Thanks for letting me remember one of my first jobs.
A good thing to show is how to make sure your meter is good before you start troubleshooting. Inspect your test leads for damage. Check a “known to be good” receptacle for voltage reading of 115 to 120 volts. Check your ohms circuit. An untested meter may not read voltage and you will think the circuit is safe! Danger Will Robinson!
Cool Dude !! ,,,,,Great to see you back'n the saddle !! ....,Covid virus a mean new virus stuff man....Give self Plenty recovery rest 'cause lots folks Never get back to their previous nornal stamina & mental acuity 😢.....Great music tunes man !!!
As a scientific/Physics trained technician professional, Interesting stuff like this Blows my Logical inclined mind !! ....Try similar things with a neutral Open mind set attitude & see what works for you...Other than some general modern Traditional geological terrain, physics & Electrical training knowledge,...I can't Logically figure how it Deff works for some folks.....Just amazing how the rods Seemed to put you Exactly on bingo spot unless you Did something else Off camera to "Plant" the Illusion.....
Interesting approach. Nice presentation. 1. Hot water works really well for heating HDPE pipe to insert fittings and you won't ruin the pipe at 200 degrees F where you can easily ruin it with a torch. I use thread sealant as a lubricant. 2. I also use double clamps but face them in complementary directions. 3. Just turn the house water off. You'll still get the mixture in your pressure tank but not in the water heater causing pink hair tomorrow. 4. Why is calcium hypochlorite better than a jug of Clorox?
Phillip: Just watched one of your videos. Please don't talk about barter on your channel. Believe it or not, IRS agents watch media and trust me, you don't want to end up in a massive audit of several years. I have been an Tax Accountant for 35 years, so please take my word for it! Robert Cooley
@RobertCooley-y3m I understand that, but I knew from day 1 that being public on this scale ment I had to be on point as far as taxes & licenses are concerned. Now I pay quarterly. If they ever audited me, they'll probably see I pay more than what I owe. Either way my Accountant & lawyer cover any of those issues.
Good golly at .. people are writing. Ive seen $1000 to $20000... really.. doesnt matter if its an insurance job or not. I dont understand how prices are that damn far apart. And most of you are ripping people off that cant do this themselves.... thats alot of whats wrong in this world these days. People have no values standards nor do they do the right things anymore. Id be ashamed to even throw most of these prices out. I dont see how you get more buisness by pricing like that
Very Commendable you doin a 1 Man + 2 helper job alone in very Hot humid energy Draining weather + still Covid effects Recovering !! .....Rambunctious energetic Youth but You gotta take care yourself from these complex Virus diseases that Need lots rest & Down time for best possible recovery.....
About to swap a pump in a well that has slight dirty filter changes weekly, a plumber told me to slip panty hose over the new pump before dropping it. Good or bad idea?
That piece you didn't know what it was is a check valve...you would have to look close but on some of them you could break a jam nut loose and then turn it to 2 way flow or turn it completely off
Great father & son Team running the business & Doin the "Hands-on" work.....More Dad action & voice footage please ! .....Take Lots of real Optical photos for Memories that Don't need batteries or electronics but Last past your lifetimes & Easily viewed.....Try to work physically Smarter with wheel Dollys (Moving heavy stuff, sand bags etc) & other Labor saving tools (sand Funnels, etc) as it Seems easy Now but all those Needless Daily anatomical strains & semi-Injurys add up & Hurt in your later life.... Keep the Good vids coming !!
I am amazed you had a problem identifying that pump arangement. It is comenly used on wells here in Illinois. It was refered to as a "working head" . Manufactured by FairBanfs Morris. Baker and others. Known for durability and relalibalty the sat on the steel well for suport ,The small cylinder (with the broken rod) was an air cylender that kept the storage tank charged with air, and the fitting bolted and piped to the pump was a check valve . Lots of them still in use in our area.
17:05 you were running way too hot, I’m pretty sure you could knock 5-15 amps off and still get a good weld. If you’re gonna use a glass flux rod, I’d use a 7018 for making your own tools or repairs.
