Wow! Big numbers -congratulations! I have been trying to make some summer knits and have started and ripped out several things- gauge issues, not enough yarn-sigh! I was living the Agave, but have to try again with more yarn. Now summer is almost over so I may just move to a fall knit. So socks are on the needles while I make up my mind. My favourite knit-hmm! I would have to say some of my little hooded baby sweaters that I have been making for over 40 years have been great fun and a challenge, as I try to change it up and make colourwork, graphs, texture and different yarns-some have been little masterpieces (some I just scrap-lol).
As a quilter I understand your wanting to work & try to finish quilt as quickly as possible. I'm enjoying my knitting journey. I'll need to keep an eye open for New Mexico retreat.

Hi Selma. I'm sure I'm going to be too late to be entered for the Giveaway, as I'm rather late watching this. I'm still catching up on podcasts as I was watching as much of the Olympics as I could possibly manage! Last weekend I fell and broke my wrist so now I'm going to be unable to knit until my plaster cast comes off, which makes me rather unhappy, but I'd just like to say that I have always loved your podcasts and have watched from Day 1. Was that really 7 years ago?? Unbelievable. And..... I also own a Golden Retriever, who is sadly in his dotage now as he is over 11 years old. You will absolutely love being owners of one - your life will be turned around but you will get to know the most incredible love and affection from a very intelligent and beautiful dog. Lovely podcast! Love that it’s a little bit of everything, not just knitting. My favorite make is probably whatever I’m working on at the moment. Although I do have some super cably knits I’m really pleased with. Currently I’m working on a hoodie (Vinteranorakk by Klompelompe) that has a lot of cool little details, so I’m very pleased with that even though the majority is stockinette.

She has custom dyed the suri in a colour that wasn’t listed in her store for me. Everything knit project that used it in has been delightful and her prices are very affordable
Hi Selma! I love your self-drafted top! My current favourite makes are sewing projects. I sewed a lot this summer: t-shirts, tanks, skirts... but my "coups de coeur" are my Yanta overalls by @helen'scloset in linen, my Chanterelle pants by @sewliberated, also in linen (they have an elastic waist but there is a zipper expansion pack) and, most recently, my Hope dress by @stylearc, in a pretty small flower printed poplin. Good luck with your next projects and that quilt looks like it will be AMAZING!!!
Congratulations on 25k. That is quite the accomplishment. We are having a bit of a cool down here before we get a little more late summer weather. It has really motivated me to start my winter knitting. I laid my stash out in the living room and matched yarn and patterns for 3 projects. I have started a Calliope by Espace Tricot to have a cozy sweater for running errands or hanging out. I also need to figure out my gift knitting for this Christmas. Your puppy is adorable. I hope she and your daughter bond well. Goldens are great dogs.
We have a big, gentle golden retriever who comes to our pub knit nights. He lies patiently under one of the tables hoping that someone with dog treats will show up. And occasionally he’s lucky.

J'ai monté aussi la camisole SanSe d'Émilie Luis que je tricote avec du 100% merinos de La Maison Tricotée et pour l'instant, ces 2 projets me plaisent énormément.. Par ailleurs je tricote les designs de plusieurs designers car le choix est très grand et toujours plus beaux les uns que les autres.❤
Congratulations on 25k subscribers! Currently working on the Ilha sweater by Orlane Sucche in Bare Naked Wool's Hempshaugh 2.0 - debating on short or long sleeves. Favorite make is tough! A recent favorite is perhaps the Anna Tee I made in 5 colors. It turned out great! Finally I wanted to add - I've sewn longer than I've knit, and seeing that dress with the buttons - here's my recommendation. Whenever I can I simply sew the buttons through both layers and skip making button holes. As long as I can get it off without trouble. Much less work! :)
Your new puppy is super cute. Make sure Yoda has vertical places she can go to escape puppy that will elevate some of the stress from the change. And that way she can feel safe. Enjoy all of the puppy breath kisses!!

At this moment I am working on 3 testknit. Two shawls #kissthebride #blancoriver and a vest #harvestvest. Ofcourse there is always a sock on my needles and a crochetblanket💃 I love to test new patterns because of the new stitches, new designers and the beautiful outcome. Between all this knitting I love to walk our 2 year old dog Tommy (Pomsky).🐶
