Beautiful, my first canal holiday was on the Oxford Canal in that long hot summer of 1976. I have great memories of those two weeks and you video brought back some of that feeling.

Thank you so much Nigel. My intention was to make this short adventure appealing to all who might think of having a holiday or even living on the Canal. I wish I had go more Tunnel in HD Blisworth was some years ago now and in SD but wow what an experience! We love to walk Canals and take a small camera wherever we go! We love Boat people and always get a wave or a hello. Canals bring out the best in us and hark back to that time when everything was so much slower. What a wonderful holiday to have! Hi Laura, thank you for wonderful comments, yes it was a lovely day and the first warm one we have really had this year after that cold, cold winter. Indeed I have some more train footage, I did long film on the Settle and Carlisle Railway, too long really so I have decided to break it all down into a short and I will dedicate it to you and your Grandson. Thanks Rory, you can never have enough thought I had loads of cutaways and then nearly fell short because of the pace of the music!! I actually posted this vid in favour of the one I edited of Paul and Natasha first, I will post this soon along with highlights of the battle for Ramsbottom. l wasn't best placed for this with only one cam and squat down wedged between legs. I just wanted make a short piece based upon some of the characters involved in this truly wonderful event, I think there are some other videos posted from this years event that focus moreover on the dancing, but many thanks for your comments, The French lady and her husband are always up for a great laugh and can be seen at other similar events. Hi and thank you. I love the Spiv's for they are quite special to me and my wife Jacqui, for her Father, Eric used to be a close friend of James Beck when they were doing National Service together. So when ever I see the Spiv's they hold a special place. This year were they not just fantastic. Especially when they were getting nicked by the coppers!!!! Thank you, regards Pete

The video was excellent it captured such a wonderful day for two great causes, the turnout was fantastic, we all had a great time, what we liked about Pete & Jackie is the discretion they used in filming our event without intrusion. The music was fantastic to listen and creates a unique soundtrack ideal for the film. Well done!
Oh and the music is called the ‘The 4.50 from Paddington’. I loved to watch those old B&W Margaret Rutherford films when I was a lad, and have drawn inspiration from one film in particular ‘Murder, She Said (1961)’. Well worth a watch for it is brilliant, and what a wonderful actress indeed she was, my favourite Miss Marple and a National Treasure.
