A fly on the wall summer journey along some of our canals set to my own music. I take my Camera wherever I go and my wife Jacqui and I love to walk the canal towpath. This film contains impromptu footage that was taken over about 3 years. Mainly focused in the late Spring and Summer along The Leeds & Liverpool Canal where we live to other Canals in the Midlands. What a wonderful and gentle way of life in these fast and furious times. We are privileged to have met some wonderful people on our travels and also to have shared the simple way of life. My film is named after a Narrow Boat called 'Free at Last' How Perfect is that and says it all really! Please support your local Canal. Thank you Pete x

Beautiful, my first canal holiday was on the Oxford Canal in that long hot summer of 1976. I have great memories of those two weeks and you video brought back some of that feeling.

Wonderful video. Thanks. I have 1 question; can a 10 feet wide-narrowboat go everyhere? I guess that the picture at 8:12 answers NO. :)

Chirk Viaduct, on the Llangollen not quite sure Kyrre, not up on measurements. All I know there are restrictions for the Broadbeamers. Thank you so much for the comments and share as well. Regards Pete

Thank you so much Nigel. My intention was to make this short adventure appealing to all who might think of having a holiday or even living on the Canal. I wish I had go more Tunnel in HD Blisworth was some years ago now and in SD but wow what an experience! We love to walk Canals and take a small camera wherever we go! We love Boat people and always get a wave or a hello. Canals bring out the best in us and hark back to that time when everything was so much slower. What a wonderful holiday to have!
