The cop got back in his car turn lights on then pulled in the driveway the fact the just left him run around after disarming him he didn't cuff him they didn't deserve to be sued they deserve to be sued! fried! in throw in jail with him! In the fact he's free today is appalling! Crime of passion just bc they were married ! She left filed a restraining order for filed for divorce in was waiting for it to be final she did what she was suppose to make clear there relationship was over so that wasn't crime of passion that was attempted murder for revenge! I remember watching this as a kid and then again in my 20’s I’m 42 years old now and I realized that this woman endorsed so much & how she was treated by the police was ridiculous.
I lived this kind of life for the better part of my 40+ years on this earth. It started in childhood with my father and continued into adulthood with every relationship I was in. People don't understand the difficulty faced by victims as they attempt to flee these types of situations. Once they do make the choice to flee they are often at the highest risk. The "if I can't have you no one can" mentality is deadly. If you know of someone who is in a violent relationship the best thing you can do is offer unwaivering support. Don't ask why does she stay? Instead ask how can I help. I finally made it out.
It's really so messed up a bunch of sorry ass cops it could have all been avoided if they did there job it doesn't matter that was so very much cruel the guy was a complete psychopath
Yeah I thought the cop that went to the last call was a pussy allowing the suspect to further harm on the poor girl she should have recieved more from the courts but at least she did get some compensation!
The cops sickened me in this story. I was in an abusive relationship. And when I wanted to leave I got a restraining order. The cops were good with my situation. In fact when I thought I heard them outside and called the cops they came right away. My partner had a record so they knew what they were capable of.

Yes, NH I promise to be home. Too many cops just drove by and don't help. A deputy said it was ok I was assaulted in Indian River, my dad an elder man is watching the children, he falls asleep. I contacted Indian , and they ignore death threats, it is no longer safe
