They nerf Split Surge in WvW. They nerf Dagger. They nerf cele so we couldn't even use dagger now if we wanted to without the daze. Sure, nerf something if it is over performing. But replace it with something else and balance the build? Power MIrage damage is now woeful compared to Holo, Berserker and Ele in WvW.....
sadly the dagger mirage got nerfed in the last patch "oct 8th" Now the only good option for solo mirage build is staff/staff one which you can find it in the discord channel.
Hello, the build links that use the "Build Editor" website are not working even though I tried to update them. However, the build links through my Discord server are still working, so if you want to check out builds until the issue is fixed, make sure to join the Discord server and check the pinned messages in each class channel for build links and other stuff. Edit: sadly on october 8th, ArenaNet officially nerfed dagger mirage by removing daze from clones as well :(
yea I see this issue, I have no idea why this happens I tried to update the links in the video description and it didnt work, but you can view the build links from the discord server "check pinned messages" in the server
I feel like, if I knew this channel, I would not have quit GW2 when they launched EoD and murdered my Necro build. Open world is my jam and I found it unplayable after that balance pass.
Hello Hizen or other GW players, could you pleased help me with the key to Spear Mechanist build's sustain? I find it very hard to solo a lot of events.
I wish there were benchmarks with buffs to estimate group content dps. The unbuffed damage comparison is very close in this video, 6% more viper >celestial. If celestial isn't viable because it isn't allowing the group to clear content as fast as possible then even some snowcrows builds shouldn't be seen as viable. SC Power Catalyst does 25% more damage than SC Power Herald. If speed and efficiency is what makes a build viable, including gear, traits, elite specs, etc. Then not only should celestial not be played in raids, but all Power Heralds, Mechanists, Daredevils, Bladesworn, Reapers, Vindicators, Weavers, Scrappers, Soulbeasts, Dragonhunters, Holosmiths, Untamed, Tempest, and Spellbreakers should be kicked from squads since Power Catalysts do more than 6% increased damage compared to them, and 6% is apparently enough to make celestial not viable.
I have a few newbie questions. I've been playing around 2.5 weeks now, and I just would like to play on my own in the open world completing maps on my necro. Last night i finally got my Reaper skills fully trained. Minutes ago I purchased the full six piece set of celestial armor. What should I use for back, rings, earrings, amulet and relic and what upgrades should I put in them? What upgrades should I put in my armor upgrade slots? I don't understand what is involved in getting trained for using swords. Thank you very much for the video, I find this game very overwhelming.
Now I really want to try and take 10 Celestial Scourges into every raid and see if we can cheese it like that XD could even take 4 wells each and chrono relic to still have Quickness, Alacrity, 25 Might. Maybe a couple Dessicates for constant fury uptime too. I know that works with Slothasaur for example but I wonder how many other bosses you could cheese with 10 off heal barrier giving people XD
I honestly don't know how you do it, I copy your builds, the exact gear and I try to match your rotation but I still die insanely fast on even just champion enemies, I honestly think you're just so skilled that these builds aren't good in and of themselves, its just they are good because you are playing them.
I love you Deadeye Build, but I swapped out Shadow Arts for Deadly Arts to boost my DPS from Poison. While the damage output increased significantly, it made me more fragile and easier to take down
Wasn't able to do this with a Vindicator, but was able with a Reaper. For the first 5 mobs, I went Marauder with Twilight/Nevermore, and for the boss I went minion master with Nevermore & let the minions do all the melee. Now I have a solo guild!
this might be an odd question but what class would you recommend for someone who can only use a single hand? I want to play this game but I can't play very well due to only being able to use my right hand, I've tried looking up strong solo-pve builds but everything I've been checking on meta-battle requires either a huge amount of skill or extremely good use of dodges which I find very difficult to do as I cannot move around very much and press hotkeys and the mouse.
Sadly I don't think you're going to find a build in this game that can help friend. Are you maybe able to get a disabled keyboard? Or rebind the keys? (if you haven't tried that already)
Gun Mech is still good enough for this. But the trouble is getting to the point where you can fully unlock the mech. Until then, an elixir build with bomb kit I think would work. The most important thing though is to get a mouse with at least 3 buttons that your thumb can use for remapped WASD movement. You can right click for dodge. I am able-bodied, but have been using that as my dodge since day 1. The mech will do a good chunk of you damage, for those times you need to do something other than auto-attack you can mostly safely move your hand quickly to the keyboard to press the button. But on mech, this is mostly for specific use cases as most of your utilities will be signets w/ passive effects that you don't want to activate often. My in-game name is the same as my name here. I can help you get the mech in Cantha if you buy the End of Dragons expansion needed to access it.
i forgot what they're called, but there are those mouse/keyboard things that people use for mmorpgs. im sure you could configure it to contain every key you need
I don't have Janthir yet, so I'm curious if your specifically Spear Holosmith can easily substitute its weapons at all. Any suggestions, or should I just look at your other, older, Holo builds? Thx!!
