Yo, good to see you too! I watched ur new solo contest entry, nice playing and new woodgrain guitar! I still remember you were the one that requested or mentioned some Obituary... now I got that whole playlist man. Am thinking about what to play now I guess?
@@THRASHMETALFUNRIFFS Hahaha, I think I mentioned '10000 Way To Die'! I am glad you like the woodgrain. A funny thing about that guitar is that I have bought it about 2 years ago, and while it is definitely a great instrument...it is another Yamaha Pacifica! So no, I did not upgrade, and no, my old Yamaha is not out of service. The reason why I brought what is essentially a copy of the (working) guitar I already have is that I have moved countries for the sake of pursuing my studies in physics. Shipping my trusty Yamaha would have costed around the same as buying a brand new one here, plus if chose to do so I would then not have an electric guitar whenever I am in my home country (which is about solid 3 months yearly), so instead I simply got myself a new axe. And yeah, I love the woodgrain too :D As for new things to play, I would HIGHLY recommend some Exodus. I absolutely love 'Downfall' by them, although that one requires you to figure out some shenanigans with the harmonized guitars in the intro. A more straightforward track by them is 'Deathamphetamine'. It is an absolute killer!
@@_x_m_m_6976 Oh shit, I remember Dethamphetamine when it came out. I'm not as much into the vocals as I am into Gary Holt... I'll have to rewatch and think about it! Awesome to hear you're still in your studies! Check out Allegaeon for some awesome "Physics Metal" from Gregg Burgess, he also has his own classical guitar channel stuff I bet you like... \m/
So... Can someone please tell me where to find the rest of the performances from their gig that night? They started to play "Jihad", but it was cut off.
They would advertise that the full performance would be on their website after the show but I don't think the episodes stayed on there for long, like when the "Pontiac Theater" sponsorship ended around the time Pontiac Motors closed down?
Dude man, OMFG, lol... I'm cringing and not sure I want to click this to remember whatever you've just witnessed from my archive of goofing off. So cool you found it though, actually! I was thinking whenever you upload the rest of ur performances it would be cool to see some playthroughs and show people what you're doing on those highly desirable classics. You know Cliff's bass was clean and clear on Kill'em All but he was doing so much more riffing on Ride and Master, and endless possibilities on Justice that is much harder to hear and I have seen your style and tones and everything and would think others would really appreciate and learn from what you're doing on those man! \m/
@@THRASHMETALFUNRIFFS thanks for that man ! I was thinking about doing some play through videos and posting them on the page … and now after you saying this , I’m thinking more about doing it … I really appreciate the feedback ! Dude your stuff is great! I was looking through your videos earlier , and there are a bunch I want to watch …. Haha … so I’ll be spending some time on your page ! 🤘🏼🙏🏻
Yo, awesome you found it dude! Love your live Paramore jams, your friend is a great singer too! Don't miss my other clip of their acoustic song around the campfire, that's probably not well known because it was short commercial breaks stitched together.
Awesome job and tone !!! Yes I said I would check your Piano wire out and I also checked out 2 more of yours so I subbed...Your axe and tune taste is like mine. This tune is a classic with it being his last song he wrote, I loved Jeff ! I love Kerry also and listen to his new album he just released. I Love playing Slayer and Kerry King on my axes !! Keep it METAL !!🤘💪🤘
Yo, very cool dude, right, I seen a few of urs and bet we would have a fun jam, we just need a good drummer!! Yes, I wasn't too sure about Kerry's new singles as they came out but cranking up the full album a few times through now I thinks it's something I would buy and blast out in the truck for sure.
Bro I found your channel by looking at the old Monte Carlo SS video, then I saw your channel name and I said to myself, self, I like metal and riffs let's give this guy a listen! Not bad my friend!
😂Metallica is a poser band, sueing listeners and big fans because they used peer to peer sharing and Metallica just felth oh no our money 🤑 our greed our god... Sellouts of the scene
A 1969 GP was available with a 390hp 428ci and a 4 speed. 1970 was available with a 370hp 455, even a Hurst SSJ was available. The Monte Carlo SS had no LS6 option, only a 360hp LS5 454 of which almost none were made. Both are cars I wouldn't mind having, I would just rather have the GP more because even the lower priced cars got a 400 Pontiac with 350hp vs the low priced Monte which was a 250hp 350sbc.
Chevrolet sold more SS Montes than "almost none". 3823 Monte SS454s were built for 70, and the LS5 was rated 360 hp at 4400 rpm, but the exact same engine, cam and all, was rated 390 hp at 4800 rpm in the Corvettes.
Besides a 454 LS5, a '70 Monte Carlo was available with a 4 other engine options, including a 300 hp 350, and a 330 hp 402, LS3. The '71 had 4 engine options, and both '70 and '71 had a 4 speed available in any non-SS.
I just happened to be flipping through channels the night this premiered during new shoes, and instantly fell head over heels for this precious man. He's been my top artist on Spotify since I downloaded the app 7 yrs ago. ❤❤❤
