The homeshow channel for Skyrim, Fallout 4, Fallout New Vegas and Starfield house mod/player home videos. This isn't content for kids, the games are rated Mature 17+. For the most part my videos are of the housing aspects of the games, but a tiny amount of content may include battles/blood etc.
I have an actual job outside of RU-vid - so I'm not a professional (there's a surprise LOL) - I do this for fun. I make mistakes, I miss stuff, I am human (and part fae and part cat). I'm also not sponsored, patronised or paid for my content in any way - I merely express my opinion about what I see:) Thanks for watching and feel free to stick around and let me know if there's any place you'd like me to visit. Specs (updated 2022): CPU: Intel® Core™ i7-13700K GPU: VIDEO: MSI GeForce® RTX 3070 Ti 8GB Video Capture: Avermedia Live Gamer 4K Capture Card (Internal) Memory - 32 GB
Finally, DON'T ASK ME IF IT'S AVAILABLE FOR X-BOX OR PS - I showcase PC mods:)
As a father with a wife and a pile o kids including 2 teens, I approve of a house with multiple toilets and bathrooms. Such an under rated feature. Bloody gorgeous house. So many great features.
It does feel a bit Tardis like but I'm good with that. Lids always keeps things interesting - great creativity. A house for a rural well to do homeowner. They appreciate the finer things in life and that includes a bit of dirt under the fingernails as the host harvests dinner after an enjoyable hour or two puttering around the place. Probably half of that time sanding the splinters off that slide to cut down on awkward fist aid needs for the tots (and maybe the host if they thought nobody was looking or could hear them yell WHEEEEE!)
Check out 'Meadlake', it's a new player home created by VIPerMX, located in the Rift. It's colorful, full of beautiful clutter and custom assets; really well-built overall!
Depends on what your PC can handle - I generally go for the highest that's available and see what happens! You know what they say "mod it til you break it" :XD
Really beautiful home, especially for a nord playthrough. There is one thing that i dont like tho (apart for the thousands safe boxes xD) and is the location of children bedroom, i mean they put them in the basement near the forge... personally i think should have been placed near your room or in any case in first floor, they are your family after all. xD
Thats a absolutely fantastic home mod maybe it took 1-2 years but the result is a masterpiece better then some stuff from a tripple AAA studio… and the autor of the mod give it for free… such a kind move ..❤
Nice home! Yeah, I checked that invisible wall underneath that arbor and I didn't get stopped. so that's on your end. Mind you, my games pretty borked too, as I was leaving the home and walking toward Whiterun, I came across a docile Sabre Cat just casually walking down the road to Whiterun too, never have I seen that one before! The only thing I don't like about this authors mods is the giant and oversized mannequins.. it's like "Dude! Please stop it!"
Another great video Feb. I saw this appear on the Nexus and realised "another Lids home, Feb will showcase this". I'm hoping it will work well with The Great Cities - Minor Cities and Towns mod, which expands Rorikstead quite a bit.
@@FebrithDarkstar It works. I had to disable an abandoned farmhouse that sits on the same site (blocking the doorway). I'm just hoping that the abandoned farmhouse isn't needed in some quest for that mod.
I like the idea of having houses spread out around Skyrim so you can have a base of operations no matter what you are up to at the moment. I feel like this one is overdone though as I would not mind a small cabin that could be built up to this final form using the Hearthfire DLC to upgrade it.
Me, as soon as I heard it was a Lids mod: "Time to take a shot of mouthwash for every bathroom in the house" Answer depends on how you define a bathroom. I define it as a room that has at least one bathtub or loo. 5-7 shots
I always have this one. He just updated it. The merchant, Lyle is at the Riverwood Trader and a very handy follower because she's a merchant with a lot of gold
Well, the last two videos you did I said they were up my alley. But here, I think I found my address in that alley. I love the fireplace and kitchen/dining area. I love all the water features. It's not overly decorated, what decorations there are are really nice. And spacious. While it's very large and would take me a bit to remember the layout, I could totally live here.
There's a small mod that's a horse ranch you can add and it basically connects the creation club farm and this house together beautifully. They all work together with no conflicts. FOS - GJALUND RANCH SSE
I'd never move anywhere near Rorikstead. Most of my characters get married at some point in time. And sometimes you just forget about Zun Haal Vik in the midst of action! So what if the good lady gets pregnant? No, far too dangerous!
Oooooh I like this one! Not too bizarre, just the right amount of "Lids' Special" 😄 I was almost afraid he had given up on the ginormous mannequins, but they're back!
Lol - I love that they're hidden away rather than forming part of the main residence, then for all those people that hate mannequins they don't have to look at them :D
I didn't know why I loved this place so much while you were showing it, until you said you appreciated the lack of taxidermy... and I said, "that's it No dead animals staring at me with reproach!" LOL. Cannot stand taxidermy unless it's obviously fake, like a fake jackalope made out of a stuffed animal. :p
I have a suggestion: how about some videos about the best homes in each hold of Skyrim? Best small cabin in each hold, best medium home, best large home, best castle, best collector home - could be fun! I thought of this because I’d like to find one home in each hold, but I don’t think anyone has done a series of videos set up that way. Love your reviews of all the fabulous things the modding community comes up with.
Hi! The minute you said that this creation was inspired by the Harry Potter franchise, I said "Oh!", paused the video, made myself a coffee, sat back down then resumed the video 😄. It's true: there's Harry Potter throughout! Such a beautiful residence, fantastic tapestry, magic elements... Even the teleportation "Stonehenge", was inspired by something we saw in Hogwart's Legacy. All in all, it was time well spent. Thanks again for a wonderful video Febrith!
