I believe it was Citysightseeing Belfast Tour Shop. It was inexpensive, the bus driver provided commentary, and we enough time at all the stops. Definitely worthwhile.
Other towns and cities in Denmark have much older buildings compared to what are usually found in Copenhagen. Copenhagen used to be a fortified city surrounded by bastions and a moat. The lakes in Botanic Garden and Tivoli are actually remnants of this moat that once surrounded Copenhagen. The pulling down of the fortifications and filling in of the moat started around 1860 and was completed in the late 1880s. Copenhagen suffered two major fires in 1728 and 1795 and these fires are the main reason why Copenhagen don't have a lot of buildings left that are older than 1728. In addition to the destructions by the fires in 1728 and 1795, Copenhagen was bombed by the British Navy in 1807 as part of the Napoleonic Wars where Denmark was an ally to France.
That explains why the older buildings are primarily brick. At least the Kastellet was preserved fairly well. There are several examples in the US as well where fires led to the wholesale rebuilding of entire city blocks like the Great Seattle Fire that destroyed the entire central business district of Seattle, Washington in 1889 or the 1871 Chicago fire. Of course that is almost a whole century later than what happened in Copenhagen. Thanks.
It may come as a surprise but the royal library garden was actually a harbor for resupplying of war ships up to the late 1850s. On one side, which is today the armory museum, used to be the armory and ammunition stores for resupplying war ships coming into the harbor. On the other side, which is today offices to the parliament, used to be the provision stores building for supplying of provisions (food, water etc.) to war ships coming into the harbor. Today, it is a tranquil garden belonging to the Royal Library.
Thanks for the added information. I am glad to see that some of the old buildings were preserved and renovated alongside some more modern structures. So interesting to me what happened to the old meat packing district which I'm sure had many different sights and smells back in the day.
"Getting Russian vibes in the area around the central train station." What??? So odd and random commentary. What does it suppose to mean? I'm sorry but you really sound just like some Kremlin troll on the internet. Especially cities with related historical events like Berlin for example. They really love to trigger and say "Soviet" "Russian" vibes all the time and think it sounds smart. And how central station area can give you these vibes if it has nothing in to do with Russia or Soviet? Dislike for that!
Sorry to read that you are upset with my opinion and the vibes I was getting while walking in the Rautatieasema area with the main train station to my back and facing all the large buildings with businesses with names like "Toimistohotelli Boffice Rautatieasema" and "Kauppakeskus Citycenter". The brutialist architecture is really prevalent in this particular area is is a prominent style of Soviet architecture in the 1950s to the 1980s. Of course brutialist architecture can be found all over, even in the U.S. But I'll stop now as it is pointless to have a rational discussion with most people on the internet, especially when they come off as hostile in their comments. Please don't watch any more of my videos as I am concerned for your mental health and hope you become well.
No, it only will apply for Europe (EU and Schengen countries). For US citizens traveling to Algeria there is a tourist visa requirement unless entering via cruise ship or traveling to certain cities in the south of Algeria. Algeria has a current Level 2 travel advisory for US citizens (exercise increased caution). EU citizens also require a visa.
Not the best video , having stayed in Sant’Agnello lots of times your this does not show 1% of how lovely it is . The road leading to the view point and restaurants looking out over the bay is stunning , with beautiful old houses converted on the cliff side being just 1 thing you missed .

✨Good day to you! I have seen your videos। your videos are very nice but your video views are very low. you need proper SEO for top ranking your RU-vid video. Do you know SEO?
I don't believe it would apply in that case. The European Union's Entry/Exit System (EES) does not apply to non-EU citizens who have a valid residence permit or long-stay visa to live in an EU member state.
It does not apply to EU citizens or non-EU citizens who are legally resident or have long-stay visas to live in an EU member state. Otherwise, it will apply. The EU Entry/Exit System (EES) applies to travelers entering 29 countries for short stays, including all EU member states except Cyprus and Ireland, and four non-EU Schengen countries: Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway, and Switzerland.
We enjoyed the ferry. We had no issues with the trip. For the ferry to Mallorca we had a cabin but this time we just lounged in the airplane style seats. The seats were comfortable. They had a small cafeteria onboard which served a variety of drinks and food to include coffee. You can see the cafeteria at the 1:24 mark.
You may want to check out the following: www.lawyer-italy.org/lawyer-in-salerno.html I found this link from a Google search but don't know anything about them. You could also contact the US Consulate in Naples for assistance. Switchboard at 081-583-8111 (from within Italy). It is difficult to provide help without knowing about your exact situation. Good luck.
This is my third year with my Sunseeker Tadpole Recumbent Trike and I have ridden this complete trail I don't know how many times and I never get tired of it. I've done a 35-mile ride twice but getting off and on in parks and Frisby Golf spot trails and others that dead end at the river etc., I've never done the entire trail in one ride. It's missing two miles where you have to use a paved road where the trail ends at Las Colonias Park near 27 Road to 29 Road and it picks up again through Clifton to 33 1/2 Road. The Loma end is near where the famous Kokopelli Trail to Moab Utah starts out of Loma.
Sounds like you really know the trail. It is unfortunate that you have to get on a mediocre paved road for a section of the trail. Parts of the trail are fantastic though and look fairly new. Just read an article about recumbent bikes. They can get really fast. Interesting how they were banned from bicycle races. Thanks for your comment.
Yes, you are correct. I've admitted my error in the description and also attempted the correct pronunciation in the following video: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-J0M0IlWjO00.html
Hi! I Live in the US but I visited Ireland for the first time in July. I loved it there and I want to return. I have not been to Killarney but I did see the Cliffs of Moher, Giant's Causeway , and a bit of Belfast. Titanic Experience was a great place to visit. Very grateful for motorcoach tours to allow me to see such fantastic locations. Thanks to your video I am inspired to visit Killarney! Great video.
you're missing out by not visiting killarney. A simple 30 minute drive could take you all day because of all the beauty spots you can stop at on the same stretch of road, the killarney national park is also one of the greenest places on earth
If you love Ireland, you may also enjoy this video that covers all the places we visited in Ireland: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-J0M0IlWjO00.html
Another nice video of this event. Like how you are start by telling about your day and the video and then present the video. Great filming and drone footage was nice to see. I know it's especially hard to film when participating. Well done!
