We're Susie and Ricky. We both work full time and love to travel when we get the chance. We like to create informative travel guides as opposed to vlog style videos that are mainly about the person/ people.
On our channel, you'll find a mixture of travel guides, travel videos on the best places to see and hotel guides and reviews. Expect videos from Asia, Europe, North America and beyond.
Whether you're planning on heading to that particular destination, or just like to watch our videos for inspiration, we hope you enjoy our content. Be sure to subscribe, like our videos and turn on the bell for future notifications!
Hello, thank you for your comment. We organised the entire trip by ourselves. We had a look online and other videos to see what the best attractions in KL were, and planned our itinerary accordingly. If you need any travel advice or have any questions, just let me know. Susie
Hello! Yes - you are quite right. It was on our list but we sadly ran out of time during our short visit to Corfu. Will definitely try to visit next time. Susie
Will be going to KL in mid july with two friends. Your video is very well done and I will subscribe! If you get to Tokyo let me know. Canadian long term Tokyo area expat! What area in KL has the nightlife, live music etc? I'm a musician!
Hi there! We're planning a trip to Tokyo next year, tied in with a trip to see family in South Korea (Seoul, Busan, Daejeon and Jeju). Let us know if you have any recos 😀 as for the best place to stay, we definitely recommend Bukit Bintang. It's lovely, fun and super central. We stayed at the Journal hotel and loved it!
@@ToucanTravellers Thanks for the reply. Tokyo hotel prices have gone up significantly due to the influx of tourists which is likely tied to the low yen. Rooms are usually small but you aren't coming here to hang out in your hotel! Will you be staying in Tokyo? Shinjuku, Roppongi and Shibuya are all sorta happening areas of Tokyo! Keep me in the loop please! I'm in Chiba city which is nearer to Narita airport!
Thank you so much for highlighting our city, Ipoh. You guys are truly awesome! Wishing you all be blessed with good health, long life, success and happiness throughout your life. 🙏
Thank you for watching our video :) We fell in love with Ipoh and would love to return one day, and do a trip to the Cameron Highlands from there. Wishing the same to you, too. Susie
Your portrayal of Kuala Lumpur is captivating! The fusion of skyscrapers, malls, temples, and nature is truly remarkable. Your week of exploration must have been unforgettable. Excited to visit the country this year and draw inspiration from your travel guide and tips. Thanks for sharing your experience!
Hello, thank you so much for the comment and support. KL is a fantastic city that's so diverse and unique in its own right. You'll have an incredible time! Ps if you're in need of a great hotel, we couldn't recommend The Journal hotel enough. You're right in the heart of Bukit Bintang, making it a great base to explore. Susie
Hi there, it's Help Beach Club. However, it's saying on google that it's permenantly closed. Sea Me Beach is another beach club to check out instead :)
Hello. There are various tours you can do in KL that are organised. We recommend checking out Klook and Get Your Guide for the different options available :)
Hello! First of all, thank you for the great video! Can I ask you the situation about mosquitos there? Is there a lot of mosquitos? Are they "agressive" or with some repellent we should be fine? Thank you!!
Hi Vanessa, thank you for watching our video on the wonderful KL :) We get a lot of questions about mosquitos in the city. We didn't witness many of them during our trip in January, but we always used insect repellent to keep them away. We always recommend using it, just in case. Be sure to purchase mosquito repellent that contains deet - it's far more effective. Susie
@@ToucanTravellers thank you for your reply! I believe people worry about mosquitos, I know I do 😅 We Will definetly use a lot of repellent with deet 😁
Indeed. However, one will never be able to comprehend the sheer beauty of the the lake District until one climb's to the summits of Great Gable and behold's the absolutely mind-blowing breathtaking view from Great Gable summits over Wast Water. Also, been on Sharp edge on Blencathra and seeing the views form the middle of sharp edge, and the legendary Haystacks the place were Alfred Wainwright's ashes was scattered on the Innominate_Tarn breathing-taking location indeed. And Helvellyn the views from the tope edge of stridding edge and the mid blowing views from the rear and front of Helvellyn.
Great video.. Question.. do you know the estimated cost of tours to see the sea turtles on the beach.. I am traveling with my husband and two teenagers
Hi there. Thank you for watching 😊 Costs for the tours vary depending on the company you go with. It is guaranteed to see the sea turtles if you go with a reputable company, however, you can also go out snorkelling yourselves. It's not 100% guaranteed you'll see them, but you'll for sure see some wonderful sea life. Hope this helps. Susie
Hi 😊 We always tend to book attractions in advance, especially popular tourist attractions. We recommend doing so, as you tend to get better deals and discounts if you book in advance. Susie
Amazing video, thank you so much for all the recommendations on where to go apart from the beaches! Me and my bf are going there this september and were looking for a guide on the historic places we could visit there, the Achilleon palace is definitely on our top priorities rn haha :)
You're very welcome. We hope you have a great time. Yes, Achilleon Palace is a must when visiting Corfu. We also highly recommend visiting Danilia Village - it's a fantastic hidden gem. Susie
Thanks for the Malaysia travel videos! They all look fantastic! I have a question: As a traveller who's planning to stay for a few months, let's say 4 months or more, which type of housing do you recommend? I'm kind of curious 🤔
Hello, thank you for your comment, we appreciate it! 😊 Good question - it depends on what your budget is, and whether you're travelling solo or with other people. Apartment rentals are affordable in Malaysia, giving you a lot of space. Hostels are a more affordable option, and are a good way to meet other like-minded travellers. Susie
