The last one was bad advice, well meaning, but bad. The CAT is what most tourists SHOULD take who aren't extremely budget conscious. He should have just said there is a much cheaper option, S7, that isn't as nice, takes longer, and may not have space for your luggage. Most tourists are willing to spend a few bucks more (we're not talking hundreds here) for a hassle free safe experience. I've been going to Vienna for over 2 decades and when the CAT became available, I was like "finally!".

I do not want to know secret places cause I hate for them to become crowded. Just like a spot, can be a historical spot that gets often overlooked, can be a view of the city’s whatever it is I would like to know more of the other districts 🥰 Shonen tag from an Italian 🇮🇹
Just came back from Vienna, the public transport is amazing, got a pass online. Clean super smooth city bought one water and use it whole week long Used the CAT, is was worth the extra few euros, especially since you get 50% when ordering ahead along with a week pass. Only negative I have, stop being so cheap with the A/C turn it on damn it! :)
LOL from the point of view of a local that’s all correct. Especially standing on left side or fiakers BUT let them buy the Sacher torte or buy some specialties at Naschmarkt - the don’t pay for the meal they buy the spirit and it is amazing.
People in Vienna are very rude, I was in Intergration Central and the woman there start shouting, you go to AMT ( Administration central) if you are not White you will get shouted at you atleast once for no reason, people at School were racist as fu ck, my relative who are British citizens get shouted at for no reason
On moving to Vienna I must admit we did use the CAT train 😅 but we didn't truly regret it because we were in a rush deadline to meet our landlord, had x2 20kg, x2 10kg suitcaes and heavy backpacks with coats on in 28 degree heat, at that point we were desperate to sit down and move our bags somewhere and it brought us close to where we needed to go. Would I do it again? Definitely not, but it was useful for us at that time (specific to our situation) and given our circumstances in that moment, expensive but worth it. ...They are trying to scam everyone else though 😂
I personally find your video in some aspects okay, but in some your complety inaceptable for me, such as Fiaker, Naschmarkt and so on. I lived in Vienna for more than 50 years and worked more than 25 years in the city, so I know the city very well

sasha lets say the 'express'train from vienna in airport to the bahnhof(12euro)is direct or they make stops?also obbs 24-48-72 hous day passes starts from the morning until the next day 05:00 or lets say if i buy 14:00 ends 13"59 the next day?
Given the chance, I would still do it for the experience & taste. It's like having a Singapore Sling at the Long Bar of the Raffles Hotel. You do it for the experience.
This is the best video I ever found that deals with Vienna. He is on every single point he raises smack on. The way he presents his findings is short, to-the-point, and absolutely 100% correct. And he focuses like a laser beam on the center of the "rip off" - right around the Vienna Opera - Mozart, Sacher, and Fiaker. It is beyond the usual tourist traps - to the point of being embarrassing for Vienna as a city.
