@@Q8Samurai these are resin printed out of Formlabs Durable resin. It is an engineering grade resin that is specifically designed for impact resistance. There is of course limits as with anything but this should take a good amount of normal driving and jumping. If you’re landing on the roof from 5-10ft+ or more repeatably when you drive then I wouldn’t recommend it. If you only do that every once in a while they should hold up great.
@@rantsandreviews unfortunately the resin only comes in this color, but fortunately the resin accepts any standard hardware paints really well. I’ve had lots of customers paint match them to their cars/trucks!
@@xanderortiz3346 unfortunately the resin only comes in one color, but any standard spray paint will stick to it really well! I have lots of customers who easily paint match them to their trucks!
Unfortunately any pigments would degrade the material performance of this resin. However, it accepts any of your standard hardware store paints really well. I’ve had lot of customers easily paint match them to their truck!
Yooooo! This is great. I actually just designed (not 100 yet but really close) a system to use the XRT body and clip less system. However, I want this for my kraton. I’m buying a set or two.
Watch the latest video on V2 of the setup! It is for those who are doing races or want to be 100% sure it’ll never come unlatched during driving. Meant to act as a spring to keep the latch shut. Hook it around the arm and the side of the piece to have it spring loaded shut.
Big fan!! I have many of your projects and love them all! These companies really need to hire you as a consultant, lol. Most of your designs would have made the original product better! Keep on innovating sir!
I glued a tiny metal washer on the top at the hole then put a tiny magnet on the stock bar/rod for no pins and still have retention. Just poke it up and bit and pull straight out. Yours is very functional and hidden.
I was hoping you'd come up with something, Kevin. The battery doors are a great design, including the aluminum pin, but that tiny body clip on the dashboard is a total pain, even if you bend them up or add a flag. I have to bring a pick with me just to get to the batteries. I can't remember how long I've had your mounts on my 10.3, but they're still flawless, and I've driven it twice as much now that it doesn't take 5 minutes to get the body back on.
This resin only comes in the clear, but it accepts any standard hardware store paint! I have a lot of customers who paint match them to their trucks or just go black if they want.
Unfortunately I believe the notorious 6S is a little bit different mounting in either the front or rear (can’t remember which). It seems like there is enough demand so I am likely going to try and get my hands on a 6S notorious to develop a setup for as well.
I’m surprised Arrma isn’t knocking at your door trying to buy this amazing body mount system from you! Great job! I’ll be purchasing a set soon for my Kraton 4s!
Im having trouble installing browser there any way u can make a more detailed video of u installing pls Can't wait to have them on I got 3 sets because I have 3 body's for the tlr
@@dakofalltrades hey shoot me a message on my website’s contact form and we can send some additional photos back and forth. That’s likely the easiest way to do it.
If you'd like to order and check that for me (as well as take a few photos I'd give you a nice discount to confirm!). If it doesn't end up working out I'll refund you.
