@@Alwayswoken If you think what I have listed is a waste of time, then you don't know what you're doing. I'm listed the steps that the manufacturer demands be followed for proper install..
I wouldn't let you ever plum any pools for me. The first pipe you glued had tons of pvc shavings all of the pipe and you glued it together. You let your glue get dirty and kept using it.
@@boeing757pilot you do realize this all gets inspected and pressure tested right? You also have no idea of the remaining process that involve the plumbing, just another guy thinks he knows it all.
@@Alwayswoken @Alwayswoken Yes, it's good that it's pressure tested. But that doesn't mean it will last decades. My issue is that you're violating the very practices that the solvent and PVC manufactors tell you to follow. There is a process of deburring and beveling the pipe that you aren't following. The beveling is critical to prevent pipe from simply scraping off the solvent at the fusion point. And you aren't applying the solvent correctly. I highly suggest that you follow the manufacturers practices. Oatey lists them and even offers step by step video instruction on its website..
Please remember to deburr all pipes during installations and repairs to ensure smooth fluid flow, prevent leaks, reduce wear on components, enhance safety, and maintain a professional appearance. Thanks!
Also needs to camfer (bevel) the pipe end to prevent the pipe from pushing out the cement. Also needs to twist that pipe to eliminate channel scrapes and resulting leaks.
Tell me towards the end you added a the pressure gauge and water outlet, why would you need that? You have a gauge on top of the filter and a relief valve there also.
Brotha i just want you to know this is exceptionally the best video on how to level your waterline and just everything you explain is pure perfection! Some of the comments on installing the tile, well theres gonna be haters and i totally agree that for the 6x6 tiles thats one way to do it. Ive watched so many vids and asked so many questions on websight and forums to figure out how to do this and I keep coming back to this video and it just makes sense. Thank you for making it!!
Completely wrong man! How does this guy sleep at night? Never do dollops of Thinset, do a burn in coat on the wall notch the Thinset with a notch trowel, and back butter the tile!
My builder did it this way, 8 months later I am redoing it totally different. the gaps behind the tile are just not professional. bedding them in mortar seals the gunite which otherwise will leak.
Absolutely wrong way to install tilen your work keeps me in business. We call your kind hacks in the business. The good Ole pancake method. That entire pool will be ate up with effervescence in no time and that time will be falling off in a few years
I always start with either pouring the coping or setting the coping first. After the coping we browncoat the wall to make it straight then waterproof/install slip sheet below that coping then tile. Why do you tile first?
Thx for doing the video. Is there a special thinset or additive that you add to regular thinset? Thinset/grout … Lowes or Home Depot? Where does one get the thinset & grout? I wish to re-tile my pool.
Great video. I have done a lot of tiling inside but never around a pool. As there are many different thin sets, any special thin set you use. Type not brand necessarily. TIA
How do you expect to provide a quality job when surrounded by all that mess, you should have cleaned the entire work site, also if you had looked after your tools then the tile would have cut.Would never employ anyone like you
I’ve just recently purchased this same equipment and just curious in a range, what type of fee can I charge for a job like this or do u go by hour? Thanks
Guarantee that spa came out all fcked up😂 because exactly how are you gona cover the sides now with the front wall. Do you just install tile right over those fcuked up walls too ?? No gettin them leveled😂 i wonder how you install coping... This might of beeen your first and last pool til job😂😂😂
